I really want to know what happened to Zuko's mom. I loved watching Zuko develop throughout the seasons, especially when we found out that his mother's grandfather was Avatar Roku. I couldn't believe that they just left it at Zuko demanding from his father that he tell him where his mother was or what happened to her. What does anyone else think happened? Do you think he'll find her in the fictional future of his life, or do you think that Ozai killed her?

It was a cliffhanger right, nothing was mentioned about the mother right to the end. The only thing they said happened to the mother was that she traded her own life for Zuko's. But because Zuko asked his dad about his mother implicates that something else might have happened to her.
I just hope there is another season or at least a continuation of the story. I loved watching The last airbender and it was totally awesome. I watched the whole three seasons in a couple of days

I'm with you on this. I don't think Nickelodeon will do any more episodes though, because they tend to limit the number episodes that they'll do for a show. I'm really hoping it'll maybe come out in the movie!

Yes! Or perhaps a pilot season. I like where each element has their own choreography, water= taichi, earth = hung gar, fire = northern shaolin, and air = ba gua

Their coming out with a new Avatar series. Called The legend of Korra. Its going to be 100 years after the first series, and might reveal clues to his mother.

According to the first Legend of Korra episode, I'm assuming that we don't get to find out! lol In the episode the only mention of Zuko's mom is when one of Katara's grandchildren asks her about what happened to Zuko's Mom. There's this big swell of music and Katara starts talking... and then one of her other grandchildren interrupts her with a big long string of comments and questions.
I think that's the creator's way of saying we don't get to know. I'm pretty sure she was alive and that she was ultimately reunited with Zuko, as there were plans for a reunion scene in the finale that got cut because of time. It doesn't bother me personally.

After re-watching that part I think you can patch it all by summarizing his mom exchanged his life for zuko yet the audience asked for a much clearer picture.. especially now, that avatar2 is here.. the audience would be down if they leave that story hanging.
