a simple question

Today ,i met a question when i make a windows xp system. The computer is protected by the point card.first i didn't remember it .then i make the system for about ten times ,but i failed .i was puzzling. I knew then i asked a colleague. It is very simple problem ,but i understood until my fellow's help!
