Our country Philippines is suffering a political crisis seems each time there is a new President it corrupts the funds of our country. I hope this coming May election will make a difference. How about in your country is it true absolute power corrupts absolutely?

Well if you give a person any power, than there is a chance for corruption. You know, give someone an inch and they will take several more. Therefore, if absolute power will occur, then there will be the purest, most vile form of corruption. Even with the best intentions, there is a chance for corruption and a small deceitful action can lead to something more. I think most politicians see what they can get away with. They tend to bend the system, just to see if they can. They see what their power can give them. Still there is a slide into full blown corruption, from the leader of the country to the mayor of a city that no one has ever heard of, that is possible. With power, there comes a chance of corruption. With more power, comes more corruption. Thankfully, in my country no power is absolute, which is a good thing, as there is enough corruption going on to begin with.

Honestly I really don't understand that. also I'm not the type who put up his country and show to others how bad his country is. If I do that, I only shame myself because I belong to that country or a son of that country. I have issues with the president's performance, and I sure not one of her supporters; but I choose to as much as possible to deal with the issues internally rather than flaunt it.
