When to give up a relationship

When can you say that a relationship is not worthy anymore. When is the time for you to give up your relationship with your partner. When he/she lacks understanding...would you give him/her up? When there is no give and take...it's always you who give...then would you give up? When love is...lost I will give up.

The only time I would give up is if there were nothing there anymore. When I say that, I mean in the way of love and emotion. If I were still in love I would keep ffighting for the relationship however difficult that may be.

I believe that a relationship (between lovers) is a two-way process. Both should work and not just either of them. I would give up if there is no love anymore, if I feel like I am the one loving, giving and doing everything while my partner is acting as if I do not exist. I would give up if he is no longer happy with me despite trying to salvage the relationship and all. And definitely I would give up if I find out he is flirting with another girl!

Relationship can last only on faith and mutual understanding, if there is suspision every thing is gone, they have to separate very soon..

Well, I agree that when there,s no faith, you have to separate very soon . But what if a person is just immature that he/she's only thinking of himself/herself....would you give up or help him/her to mature.
