I should ask what will you be doing when you retire? What do you visualize that you'll be doing?I visualize myself, doing hobbies to occupy my time like working in a garden, sewing, making blankets, those are things to do with time.I know I won't be working unless it's a part time kind of job, just to get me out of the house. What about you?

Well that would be a long time from now so I have not given this too much thought. However, hopefully I will be doing something interesting and I will not be bored. There are so many people who retire and for a while they enjoy all of the free time that they have. Then after a while, they are bored out of their minds and thus unable to find things to do to occupy the new time that they now have on their hands.
I would like to think that I would be doing many of the things that I do right now in my free time. Then again, in the next several decades or whatever, my tastes could change a lot. So it is really hard to tell what I might be doing when it comes time to retire. What interests me could be drastic different, even a year from now, never mind the years and years it will be until retirement age. Still, as long as it allows me to keep from falling into the boredom trap, then it will be all good.

It's hard to plan for that far ahead.I do know if I retired and hung around the house all day,I probably would be bored.I think the older one gets their interests changes depending on what age.I'm 41 and my interests definately changed alot from when I was in my twenties.I may go through another change of interests before I retire.

I would love to travel when I retire. I would like to go to Europe and see the beautiful places there. Well, everything depends on my financial resources that is why I am working very hard now so that I can enjoy life after my sons graduate from school. With regards to job, i will work part time for as long as I can. It makes us feel good to know that we are still useful. But of course, I am not planning to work as hard as I am doing right now. :)
