This one is for the old timers like me. What is it that you admire most about today's generation. I know we complain about them, but they're not all bad. They're bright, resourceful, inquisitive and have the world at their feet.
What traits have you noticed about them that you admire?

I used to think that the current age is more advanced in many things, technology, science, everything about knowledge. A more knowledgeable generation. But I think quite differently now. Without any intentions to negate those wonderful inventions, I think the people are not too different than the way they were even thousands years ago. If we think we are smarter we have to see the knowledge that makes the 7th Wonder of the World. When it comes to politics. Even the people from the ancient world had established a very strong government.
The same thing about crimes. We can say there are no crimes that have never been commited before. Just read through the whole Old Testament in the Bible. Everything remains very similar if not the same.
However, when it comes to certain things about kids nowadays, I can only add that if we complain about our next generation, we should actually put that complain to us first. After all, they are 'generated' from us...=)

Ooops... forget a bit...
And the same thing applies to the admiration for today's generation, too. Today's generation learns things from the previous generation. Being the today's generation (at least I can still be categorized under that), I become the way I am today because I also learn from the previous generation, right? So, I think it's actually about US and WE...=)

They are determined when they decide to do something..
They are attached to friends more than the senior generation.

The fact that they understand gadgets a lot more and they are more hi-tech wizards than I'll ever be.

Sorry I'm a youngster, but I think a lot of my generation is lazy... I see too many of my friends being apathetic towards national issues, jobs, and most of all caring about others... I don't mean to snub my fellow generation, but I think we are a lot lazier than your generation, simply because we can get things too easily nowadays with our technology... It's not that were good at it, it's that we know an easier way to do it!
