I don't remember many of my dreams but when I do they tend to be..well, a bit weird. Here is the latest one. I hope someone can make sense of it because I can't!
Anyway, I dreamt that I was on a cross between a train and a tram as I could see the "tram" tracks laid out in front of us..and whatever the mode of transport was travelling quite fast. I remember more about the journey back from "wherever" than going. I was sat on a long seat at the front, facing the side of the vehicle. Alongside me was a baby that could speak. That baby was a beige colour but he (definitely a "he" because I called him Tom, the same name as my nephew) was not my baby, I felt like I was looking after him, which is what I used to do with Mum and Dad when he was younger. His parents were (then) a waste of space. The rest of the vehicle was made of black people. When I asked Tom how far away we were from our stop he replied, "It's the third one along..and it's called Nigeria." Honestly, that's what he said. The black people on the vehicle were friendly and liked Tom as he could speak, despite being a baby..a very long baby.
Once we got to, er, Nigeria the rain was absolutely teaming down. I remember that very clearly. Tom did not have any clothes on and I also remember lying with him in a foetal position on the seat before disembarking from the tram. What's that all about?!
I took off hubby's blue Carlisle United jacket (which is too big for me) and wrapped it around Tom. I then started carrying him in my arms through the rain, running. Where to I do not know because I woke up!
There is one thing that ties me and Tom together and that is; we are both looking for work. I will be starting work at the same place as hubby on Tuesday, on a casual basis but I do have to visit the Nurse Practitioner tomorrow as I have stomach pains that will not go away. As far as Tom's job search goes he is awaiting instructions to re-start at a laundry when the holiday season starts. He lives in the same Town as my parents, 100 miles away.
I hope the last paragraph helps anyone trying to decipher this dream. I must stress I was OK when I woke up, not sweating or scared in any way. I just thought to myself, "WTF was that all about?! LOL!

Woaw...Well I can start by telling you that dreaming rain it means fertility and purification,so take it as a positive sign.To dream about you on a trip,if it's a quiet and long trip it means you'ill have long life.IF you're dreaming you're carrying a baby,it says you shouldn't have to big hope with your actual business.Dreaming that you was on a cross it means that you will have to make an important decision in your life. The beige color is the symbol of sickness, therefor your stomach pain.Something else that i can tell you about is that jacket, quote"which is to big for me".if the clothes are to big in your dream it means that the impression you leave for some people around you is that you tend to be too superior. In the same time, the color of the jacket, blue it symbolize positive thoughts ,peaceful life. The fact that you was running in your dream it might mean the fact that you need an escape from a difficult situation or your desire of reaching something that you proposed to yourself .Taking off clothes, in dreams,it means that you should show your true feelings and dreaming somebody naked,it says that you can "read" people (understand what type of person someone can be)or that you are worried about what could you find out about that person(situation).
That's all i know and hope it will help you out to dechifer your dream.I know all these stuff from my grandma but that doesn't mean you have to take it to serious...:D.
P.S.:interesting dream..

Hi janey, studies say that dreams are manifestations of some unresolved matter. That is why when a person is asleep and is not in control of the physical, vignettes of reality manifest in the subconscious. But still, no empirical method could pry to the depths of the human brain and explain dreams. For all we know, it just might be the fatigue factor. Don't worry so much about it.

The train relates to a trip. (your trip through life) The baby is a new beginning. (something new is happening, or about to happen) You are taking care of your life (by caring for Tom) The Black people (could be a threat) except they are friendly. The third stop (Nigeria)is your visit to the nurse where the Black people (health problems) are friendly ( so No problem) The rain could have been a problem, but you wrapped Tom (your husband) in his Jacket, and helped him get the job in the Laundry.
The dream is life related, and is telling you to "keep up the good work!"

Hi janey
I think might as well give it a try as I always try to make a meaning of dreams- mine and if my family /friends tell me theirs- so here goes.
This could probably relate to something back of your mind, and then Tom ( that infant in your dream- I'll call him "T" is a soul with whom you are very friendly and may be related and you take or took great care in this or previous lives.
Transport means travel in time- it could give you an indication that soon you will have to make a decision ( the crossing of tracks) which may involve a new job, country or environment; and may be in a new environment/surrounding or area ( Nigeria also tied to this.
You taking great care of T means you are always protecting close ones or someone who is really helpless and needs lots of support, and the fact that T can talk at that age means that there is some genius or highly added quality or intelligence of that person.
Nigeria you say - may be you had something back of your mind that day or last couple of days or read somewhere about dark skinned or foreigners, and they liked you that means no fear from strangers rather they appreciate you in fact you may even may have had an interaction about some dark skin and the skin colour differences among you did not bother anyone.
Also the heavy rain - it could indicate when you go to a new place/job/environment it may not be a warm welcome and you will have to rely on some known or close person for support ( the warm jacket!!). Blue also indicates peace or a peaceful life is what you all want, Running means that you are trying to get out of a situation and you find some solution to it.
I am not perfect so don't believe everything what I have written - you see, I read a lot and have an interest in philosophical & spiritually related matters and books and hence read a lot on these as well as used to attend seminars etc though it is my hobby not my profession
Hope this satisfies you
let me know

Reading about the heavy rain and the jacket in your response was most intriguing as - in the past I have worked in places that indeed WERE NOT friendly so to say I am nervous about working in the same building AS MY HUSBAND is an understatement. However, earlier he gave me an example of what I'll be doing and it really is simple! It is a noisy place so I will be provided with ear-plugs so chatting does go on but everyone is so busy they haven't the time...which suits me fine. Get in there early so I can come home early and earn some easy cash into the bargain!
Thanks for your input, it's much appreciated my friend.
