Have you ever worn your Pajamas to the store? Most everytime i go to a grocery store or to walmart i see someone wearing there Pajamas. I find that to be a lazy person or just a scum. Why do people even think about wearing there pajamas to a local store? I just can't seem to figure out why people wear there Pj's To the store.

That never happens in my area. Neither have I seen one in the mall. However, my high school friends told me that in their school (in another city) it's okay for them to wear one in class, most especially if they were running late because their dormitory was located inside the campus and it was a normal incident in school. However, I wouldn't dare wear one because my pajamas are really almost transparent. I live in a tropical country which is why our clothes are light which also includes my pajamas. Going out like that is either too daring or too stupid because people could see vulnerable 'parts' if you know what I mean.

Lol, that's really strange. I've never heard of transparent, or nearly transparent, pajamas before! :O Some people at my school also wear pajamas to class every once in a while, but they almost always do it when there's some event going on...like a spirit day, theme day or something.

I have never done that, and I never ever will. I just think it is totally tasteless, and I don't get people who do that at all. It's not that hard to get dressed, and seriously, if you care so little that you can go in a pajamas, it's not like you are obsessed with matching stuff either!

I have never worn my pajamas outside my house, and even when I just want to go to a grocery store close to my home, I prefer to change my clothes and wear a pair of jeans instead. In my country I haven't seen anyone wearing pajamas in the shops. Many years ago when I was a child my father drove me to school every day, but it was hard for him to get up early. One day when I was ready to go school, we couldn't understand that my father was still upstairs, and my mother went to have a look. He had fallen asleep again, and my mother told him to hurry up otherwise I would be late for school. My father jumped out of bed and drove me to school in his pajamas. I found that very funny, because clothes have always been really important to my father and on a normal day he would never dream of wearing a pajamas in public.

Hi lologirl2021. A lot of people do that here and I have to say it does irritate me a little. I do find it a little lazy not getting dressed to go to the store. I know over in the UK one big supermarket chain tried to ban anyone shopping in their pajamas.

I had never gone out in a pijama but I am not sure I won't do it some day.I don't care what people think or talk about me.If I am in a hurry and I need something I will just to the shop which is under my block wearing pijamas.

I have worn just my pyjama bottoms (well, more like lounge trousers)to the 24hr garage to grab some milk, but that's it...it is it literally just over the road so hardly anyone notices!

Oh no! Never in my life have I worn my PJs to a store. But I have seen many who do it. I too often wonder why people can't take the time to just get into a pair of jeans, zip up a jacket and get to the store. I mean, how much time does it really take to do that! I for one can't ever step out of my house like that. Nice discussion topic. lol. Have a great day and week ahead!

When I first saw the title about wearing pajamas in public, I was gonna say, as I mentioned in my comment, that I do know people who have, on occasion, worn their pajamas to school...However, I don't think I can recall seeing anyone wearing pajamas in a store...I think that'd just look really out of place and seem quite strange!

Hello! I've never done it but I currently live in Ireland and people here (women mostly) do it all the time! and I'm talking about patterned PJS with leopard spots or with kiddies stuff. I'm amazed cause I couldn't do it, I don't leave my flat without getting dressed and doing my hair even if I can go without make up or without my glasses! The worst I've seen was a woman with the kind of embarrassing PJs you definitely wouldn't want people to know you wear: it was the all buttoned all covered kind if you see what I mean, like the one babies wear... if I'm home in my PJs and too lazy to get dressed, I don't go out and my PJs are way less embarrassing than those ones!
