What do can you say about people who post articles here in mylot?

I find them cheating. You see, we are earning based on the length of our discussions and the number of people who react to them.
I do understand that it's a great way to start a topic because those are social issues, but what's bugging me are the people who copy-paste the whole article. I think it's better if you just copy the headline then copy the link and paste the link. But don't forget your idea about the article first.
What do you think? Is it okay for you to see a very long article pasted here in mylot? I think that's against the rules.

"We are earning based on the length of our discussions and the number of people who react to them."
WRONG! We earn based on the quality of our participation and on our participation alone!
That means that it is not the length of a discussion topic or the number of responses you get that is involved at all.
People who copy and paste a whole article without even bothering to add anything of their own are simply plagiarists (people who seek to pass off other people's work as their own). They are generally detected and deleted very quickly by Admin because that certainly is cheating (or trying to cheat) MyLot and its members.
We are instructed in the Guidelines to LINK to an article which we wish to discuss but we must have something of our own to say in order to invite others to discuss the topic.

I haven't seen too much of that, but it may be on topics I don't have listed under my interests. I think using articles to start a discussion is okay as long as you are adding your input to it and asking people questions based on the article. I've seen people do that and it didn't bother me. There used to be a user on here who did that alot and it was nice because I learned a lot more about things that were happening lol.

You said it! I hope the administrators of myLot do something about this. And besides, they are committing an act of plagiarism. It is indeed unfair to those who posts their discussion with good intention.

sometimes I feel lazy to provide responses to a lengthy article. For me, it was really boring but I'm not angry or hating people who made them, for me it was a natural because we dimylot earn top of the article that we make, right? .... about the violation or not, of course, yes. That's against the rules mylot
