To buy or not to buy

Okay so here is an update for everyone who's read my prior discussion about buying a truck. We might actually not be buying the truck, we might be buying a Ford Focus or PT Cruiser from Car Max. Tomorrow we will be calling to get a quote om the insurance for these two vehicles. The Ford focus was 11,998 and the PT Cruiser was around $10,000 but I forget the exact price. The model year for the Focus was 2008, but I don't know what the one for the PT Cruiser was as we didn't pay much mind to it. My husband has made a list of what our choices are to buy the car. I am earning online or trying to earn more for this month so that we can pay more on one of our bills and hopefully get it paid off. I'll be updating everyone on what we have decided as we decide things. So I know one member here has bought a car, anyone else going in to get one or got one with their tax money?

Well either a Ford or a Chrysler (As we've been told a PT Cruiser is from Chrysler). So we'll just have to see. I am sure if I earn a bit online I can help make payments, and of course I'll need to get a job. Is there any equivalent to taxes in your country?

We consider our money to be our money, so it's not so much helping him as it's helping ourselves or both of us. Hmm, well your lucky to not have to pay taxes in your country!

hahah, well we've got to consider the payments and insurance first. We don't have the kind of money to choose the one that we like the best. Wish we did, but heh I'm just glad and very thankful we have money!

I rented a Ford Focus one time and it was totally gutless. I guess if it was just for around time it wouldn't be too bad. Tax money? Not anymore. I am retired and on SSD. I personally wouldn't have a Ford. Or a Toyota now. I go for Chevy's and Subarus. I hope you two are happy with whatever decision you two make.

I wish we had the money to get things fixed up around the house. That was what we had planned on until the car decided that it needed a new caliber converter and new brakes. It always figures when we have extra money the car has to act up. I am glad that you had enough tax money to buy a car or a truck. I wish you all the best. I am trying to make extra money on here as well so we can get stuff done.

Hi SCG.. All I can say that a Ford car is pretty neat. I don't know which model is best and what is what though....Good luck...
