In this discussion here on Mylot, somebody post a payment proof of readbud:
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2295500.aspx
I don't know if is real or not, but in the site PTCinvestigations I just found another one, you can read about here:
http://ptc-investgations.blogspot.com/2010/03/readbud-readbudcom-is-it-scam-or-legit.html
The proof was posted on the comments by somebody called JuiceMan, and the link to the image of the proof of payment on paypal is this:

There are two proofs founded until now, what do you think? are they real proofs or not? raedbus is legit or not?

I am a member of readbud and the road to payout is really slow. I calculated that you must earn $2 daily to reach payout in a month but there are times there are very few articles to rate and it would not give me $2 a day. However, I am persevering in this and hope that it would not be another scam. Would like to know too if anyone received payment from readbud!

Yes the road is so long in readbud, I have been there for about a month and i have around $32, and mysteriously in the last days I have only a few articles to read, yesterday I have read only four. It would be great if somebody here on Mylot reach the payment on readbud and receive it please let the others know...

Hello vick77, by looking at these i honestly think they are not legit, for instance one is in canadian dollers when they pay out in USD (i found after doing some research) so that one is fake, and honestly 2 payment proofs out of how many people say that site is a scam? it is not legit i would not use the site, or believe the payment proof.

Yes, the first one proof seems to be false, the second one is much better, may be only one proof is not enough to determine if readbud is legit or not but meanwhile is interesting the discussion about the opinions of all Mylot members about readbud. And for other part I have not seen any negative comment about readbud, I mean somebody to have said he reached the payment and not received it...

The site is only a three months old, and we can't tell that early if the site is legit or not. They can pay for now, let's another 3months then we'll see!

Yes, I am agree with you.
But I think that for three month there must at least few payment proofs. If members are earning 1.00$ per day, then for three months most of them should be paid...
I also hope this site will work fine, but we will see...

Hi, Vick!
I will believe only if some of my friends from mylot give me a payment proof. There are many payment proofs all over the net from many scam sites, so you never can be sure if that is true or not. I am Readbud member too and I wish they are legitimate and honest site, so we will be able to make good $ every month, but I have a doubts about their legacy ...

Hello Vick,
One is in Canadian dollars, with no PayPal conversion from USD, so it's probably fake. The second is in USD : it's better .
But the top ten members have read between 6000 and 7000. Let's say $50 for 1000 articles, and they are supposed to have cashout 6 or 7 times. How many members have read more than 1000 articles ? hundreds ? Do you think a proof is enough ?

Hi topffer that's what has been worrying me. So how long has this site been there? A year probably in which case these members who have read 7000+ articles must have rated at least 20 articles each day. Probably the site has been in existence for longer than that. But look at it this way, even now some members still ask whether mylot really pays or is it a scam?

Hi kiran8,
Two points :
1) Readbud is online since February only, and it seems difficult that anybody was able to have read more than 7000 articles in two months ;
2) You are right , some newcomers at myLot are asking if this site pays or not. The difference between Readbud and myLot is that there is many proofs of payment online for myLot . I have not seen a new one for Readbud since Vick started this discussion, and both proofs in this discussion are questionable (blurred screen shots of PayPal balances).

It is best not to build up hopes. And I somehow feel this isn't legit. Though it may pay a few members, we can't tag it as legit. We better keep a close watch on this one.
