I come from China and I live in the capital of China - Beijing. The house is very busy for most of people in this city, average salary is 3000, high income is about 8000-15000, just have a little excellent people have the income more than 25000 per month. But the average price of house in this city is 25000 per square meter. A 100 square meter's house need 250,000. The normal people need save money about 70 years for it.Is it expensive for you to buy a house in your city?

The median house prices in Perth Western Australia where I live is between $400,000 Australian dollars (US$ 370,000) and$500,000 (US$463,000). The cost of housing has gone up a lot in our state. We bought our house almost 10 years ago for $187,000 and now it’s worth almost $450,000 and ours is an average 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home. It’s unbelievable! Of course mortgage interest rates have gone up considerably which makes life difficult for those of us paying off our homes!

Everyone wish to live Independenly in their own house and live a peaceful life. So this raise to the increase in the land rates worldwide. In my area the land rates have trippled compared to the last 5 years. So cant think of buying a new land to build a house as per our wish.

Oh I know, it's really expensive to buy a house or lot in China. I think they're discouraging people from buying one. But I think there's a good side to it. The country is more organized (not having houses popping up in different areas). But there are disadvantages too.
I think there's no place anymore in the world where housing is cheap. The housing plans in our city is also expensive. Average people can buy them but they need to save for it and skip most of their unplanned spending. Sadly, only few could finish paying their mortgages as well.

i guess that if you want to buy house and lot in the city its really expensive due to its near commercial nor its within commercial place. even here in my country, normally we buy house somewhere in the province coz they are cheaper though the problem is its far from work so you must have your own car too.
