There different practices in both religions and if you and your girlfriend are aware of that differences and will not interfere in any event or try to persuade the other, you can do a civil marriage.
To marry Cristhian religion must be baptized and follow the precepts of the church, the Hindu religion I do not know. In some cases people get married in 2 rites at same time. Some deceived and get married accepting the rite of the other.
If both love each other do only a civil marriage like it is a traditional marriage. Later you will find out that all religions are wrong.

My husband and I are both Christian so we had no problems with getting married. However, I think that it all depends on the two religions as to how it will work out with the couple and getting married in a church. Are you talking about getting married in a church or just the reactions of your family?

You or would-be would get no much problems. thad depends on both of your attitudes. but i am sure your children may face some difficulties. For christians their is a big task is in front of them. They are getting married to build up a christian family. I am christian. i had, have many friends from verious religions but, I was so perticular in marring a christian guy. now it is easy for me to run a christian family.
