In your opinion, what's the most important ingredient in a relationship?

I disagree that all other things will follow if there is love. Loving someone does not necessarily mean trusting them and putting their happiness before your own. That said, I have a hard time choosing one thing that is most important. There are several things that are necessary for a relationship to be a strong and happy one. Trust, respect, communication, love... all of these things are independent of each other and need to be present in a relationship. Without any one of these things, the relationship will not last.

aside from love, of course - this is the main ingredient.. but for a recipe to be delicious, it needs its spices too... and i think the one that i will put in more is patience - i will have this cooked very well so patience will be long! hehe and of course.. trust will be placed as my added spice... it shall not be done with out trust in it.

Hi Masmasika! For me, time is the most important ingredients in relationship. Why? Because loving your love without much time with each other is like loving a stone boy or a doll. Wherein you can't even touch your loved one nor talk to him/her, nor kiss him/her or hug him/her. It is a great problem in a relationship when you have no time with each other. Time is very important to improve ones relationship and also to develop your social interaction with each other. A far-relationship is not always good especially when the two of you is very far from each other. So when this happens, time is very very important so that you can express your love personally. And for us girls, we appreciated much when the guy has its time spending together with us.

For me it's trust. You can't love your partner wholeheartedly if you don't trust him enough or he don't give you his trust either. Before love, there should be trust first and that would complete the ingredients to make the relationship last longer.
