i always been wondering why some people play or drop some online games. The main cause I see is that most of them dont like the graphics or have some issues related with the game itself. However I want to direct my question to online gamers. I wonder if the factors that affects them are something else than a bad plot on the game or a bad computer?
what do you think that might also influence?

1. It costs a lot
2. There are a lot of heartless PKers (Player Kill)
3. There are a lot of pesky KSers (Kill Steal)
4. Boring plot
5. Some character classes have a huge advantage over most classes
6. Eye-straining graphics
7. too many high-level players (related to number 2 and 3)
8. Crowded servers
9. Free play is too limited
10. No time to play
11. Friends are not or stopped playing
Hope this helps. I based all of these from my experience:)

I play online games which have preference for buying premium stuff, and although the game is generally free to play, having premium items would still help your character a lot. A lot of the gamers I have known have quit playing online games because it just costs them too much time and even money.

is true that is related with the game innovative or the marketing department. but I would like to know what people think regarding the interaction itself with the computer. mmm what annoys you while you play beside other players or cheating that might make you say "I wont play this anymore even if you like the dynamic of the game"

Some online games change the style of the video games and it kind of bugs the
veterans of the game who normally use it to play it - coz after all, new functions
new objects, etc. Some people would leave online games since the price of the
membership is costly and they have other things to pay for and other things to
do in life other than sit around playing online games on the computer... Now
online games as in video game consoles where you and your friends play, is a
different story. But always, school and other life's greatest obstacles are an
issue to commitment to a video game, that is why some people leave them.
