Who do you think is the funniest character in spongebob squarepants?

I think the funniest character in Spongebob Squarepants is Patrick. He seems to be a little slow or retarded. He seems to have no clue whatsoever is happening. Who is your favorite character?

I'm with most of the people here -- Spongebob and Squidward are my favorite characters. They are both funny and the two of them together makes for some of the funniest dialogue in the show.

my favorite character is spongebob but i like squidword also... i love it when both of them is arguing or when spongebob annoys the hell of squidword..:D makes me laugh all the time..:D

Squidward and Spongebob combined is the funniest. Squidward always feels he's so cool, so prim and proper. Some one of high standard, but he always seems to lose to spongebob. It's fun to see him suffer because of his ego. haha
