When we hear something shocking or a bad news for example most of us would say something quite spontaneously without much thought. I'm prone to say it in my mother tongue. And it just comes out automatically too. In translation it simply means My God!

Hey tomi! I think that is what most people say not matter what
language they speak! I think that is just the most common reaction
that people have to bad news! It translates the same no matter
what language one is speaking in! Bad news is bad news and that
is usually the first words that one says when hearing something
that is distastful! I guess that is just another thing that we
all have in common no matter what race, creed, color, religion
or language that we speak! Which just goes to prove how similar
we all are no matter what anyone says and again, we all bleed
red~

Before i use to curse alot when i hear bad news , but since my pastor told me thats a bad thing he told me to find a way to channel my feelings and urge to say bad words into something else instead. And from that point on when i hear any bad news coming up i tend to raise my eyebrow instead of saying anything bad anymore lol . That will be my left eyebrow haha

Yeah besides its not that easy to do that kind of stuff you really need to be determined to be able to do that it took me some weeks just to finally change the way i receive bad news so that people wont be offended everytime i curse or say something bad. Thanks for reading brother!Have a great day!

Oh! My God! That's what comes out first from my mouth if I heard a shocking news. If it's something unrealistic or unbelievable I would say Oh! My Golly Banana! Really?

Well, the first thing that I would probably say is: "Really???!" as if I couldn't believe my ears. When I'm sure the person who told the bad news is not joking, I'll say: "Oh my God.." or "shucks..."
