I had a car accident today

gee I was on my way home and was riding a PUJ (public utility jeepney) when the driver miscalculated his right turn on a busy national highway. There was a thick gutter and the jeep's wheels hit the thick gutter. We were almost thrown out of the jeep. My arms are badly bruised when I hit the side railings and the woman next to me crashed on me hitting my left rib cage. I saw how God protected me and all the passengers the jeep could have been turned upside down looking at the position of the jeep but it didn't and we were all able to go home safely although bruised. I am thankful how God have stepped in. Have you ever been in any kind of road accident? Care to share what happened and how you think God protected you?

I wish you a speedy recovery. i hope that you ll resume back to normal health. I have been involved in minor car accidents only which are bumper to bumper accidents. Fortunately only the care was hit badly and I did not suffer any injuries.

I've been in several accidents. THere were the few minor incidents but I have also been thrown out of two vehicles. The worst one was when my car got hit by a bus. I was thrown out and i wrapped around the guard rail. I had over 100 stitches in my head...but nothing broken!

I have never been in a accident in my adult years. When I was about 8 years old, my family had a bad accident. We where hit by a large truck. I was cut on my right wrist very badly. There was a lady, who held my wrist to keep it from bleeding. After we got to the hospital, we never seen her again. I think God had sent a angel to do this.

I've been lucky in my life to have only been involved in one car accident and that was seven years ago. My daughter, my best friend and her son and myself were all four in my new car (I'd only had it for five days). We were stopped at a traffic light when I was rear-ended. It tore up the back of my car and caused my friend and I to have some bruises. However, luckily the children were both in car seats and they were fine.

I'm glad you're all right. I've been involve in a motorcycle accident before. I was driving really fast and I didn't know that there is a railway ahead of me. When I notice it, and calculated that I was gonna fly if I hit it, I step down for the break, but I was driving so fast so I had no other choice but to hold on the front wheel break. After hitting it badly, the last thing I know is I am flying away from my motorcycle. I hit the road really hard. Lucky for me I am wearing a good helmet and survived the accident.

woah! that was dangerous! Glad you were'nt hurt at all. It's really a must that motorists where their helmet when they are on the road. It's better safe than sorry!

I am so glad that God protected you! :) I hope that you feel completely better soon. The only type of car accident that I have been in was once when I was riding with my brother (and he was driving) we went in the ditch and damaged the car a bit (but we were not hurt.)

thank you falling fan I feel a bit better now but still a little sore. But I would be okay soon. I'm glad you were not hurt either but I guess the car was hurt lol. It reminds me of a story of one of my aunt's friend he said he doesn't care if he drives an old car because that way he wouldn't feel bad if get dented in an accident because it's old lol.

Oh my, so glad that all of you are alright and nobody had a major bruise or something. I have never been in a car accident, and that's really one of the things that I'm really scared about specially when riding public vehicles, cause they really tend to drive faster than normal, I guess to be able to have more travel thus more passengers....

I tried riding a PUJ back in college where one of the wheels of the PUJ went off and rolled in front of the PUJ. The driver never noticed it until he made a turn and the PUJ started to lean to the side. It was a good thing that the driver was driving slowly.

I almost had one last week. I was driving on the correct side of a small residential area road, 10kmh slower than the speed limit in that area. Right after coming out of a blind curve, I saw a huge truck approaching me. He was driving on my side of the road! Since he was approaching me, of course, that means he's supposed to be driving on the opposite side, but I don't know what he was thinking to be driving there. I hit the brake, and thank goodness, there was enough time and space for him to to back to his side of the side. But I was kinda shocked after that. What if he was sleepy (it was about 6.30am) and didn't see me right away? Or what if he was drunk? Sure, the accident would be his fault... but what about me? Would I still be able to walk, or even move, or even alive after it? I know God loves me, and I'm thankful that he protected me at that time and saved me from getting into an accident that is not my fault.

It is really good that you were safe. It might be the driver's fault but he got skills to turn things upside down. Maybe God help him to control the jeepney from rolling to save all of you I also have a similar experience but a different story. I was in a public bus and I was in the front. Then suddenly the bus which is in front of me seems like it is getting bigger (what was I thinking that time LOL!). Then suddenly it crashed breaking the windshield and injuring some of the passengers. We are really thankful that we were on the pink lanes where bus picks their passenger and not in the highway. It really is a miracle that I wasn't hurt. We should thank God that we are still alive
