Do like to cook your own chicken or buy KFC's?

I really like cooking and preparing foods for my family. Its just that I dont have much and luxury time to do it. I still manage and force myself to prepare foods for them and they just have to reheat it. We are going to the KFC maybe once a month only, because I know its not healthy for us to keep on eating there. Its also quite expensive and I just observed it before that if I keep on eating in fastfood I am getting bigger and gaining weight.

I do like Southern Fried Chicken, it is really tasty, and is actually quite easy to make at home, although I must admit I really like KFC as well and buy it as a treat now and then.

if there is enough budget for a dine out for the family, we used to go to Jollibee, the most popular fastfood chain in the Philippines which serves good tasting foods like chicken. but if the kids want to have fried chicken, my wife prepare for them, the way Jollibee or KFC do with their chicken. and the kids will enjoy it, and will utter, oh, this tastes like Jollibee.

Living on my own, I would cook chicken every other week. I enjoyed trying new recipes and ways to prepare, but I can never fry chicken. I'm so horrible at frying any kind of food. When I want fried chicken, I will go to KFC or any other fried chicken fast food joint.

I eat chicken made at my home most of the time. This is essentially because there is no KFC in my city. Though there are other fastfood joints you dont get the feel or taste of eating in KFC. KFC might start their operations in our city in a month or so. Then my eating out will increase and eating would go down.

No, it's usually more to buy fast food or KFC, it's cheaper to cook at home. When KFC gave their food for free we went there, and when we went on vacation or special trips, we did go to KFC. Fast food can be nice if you are in a rush or don't have time or know how to cook well.

I like to buy KFC chicken than eating chicken prepared at home. KFC chicken is very tasty.

It's been a while since I ate KFC. It's good but it is also crazy expensive. The chicken I can eat here at home is just as good but the KFC is just an easier alternative.

I like to cook my own chicken. A long time ago I bought some breaded chicken pieces that looked awesome and yummy. They were a bit cold so I heated them at the oven. You can´t imagine the amount of grease that they had! It made me sick just to see them. From them on, I buy my chicken and bake it after taking out all the grease I can. I salt and pepper it and put some butter over it. AsI live alone, it can last many days and go through many lives and recicling.

Hi crazydaisy, I would rather cook mine unless I'm in a hurry. And whether it's my cooking or from KFC I would say it's not really that often. Because I love steam fish more.

hi, My favourite dish is chicken. I'd like to eat more. Its better to prepare at home only. Bcoz its a cheaper. If I have programs at outside I prefer to buy at good restuarent. I donno about KFC & I heard that its a cost. Happy Mylotting

KFC is one of my comfort foods here in the Philippines. No offense and any bias but I was able to taste the State's recipe, the Philippines is still better. The herbs and spices added to the chicken make it better. The state's recipe is a bit bland.

Hi crazy, the last time I had KFC must have been five years ago. My wife always buys fresh chicken. However, while my wife is in Thailand, while I'm still in Australia, I have been buying a half a roasted chicken from the supermarket. Delicious.

I think KFC is getting very expensive. For what you get for a two piece meal I could make alot of chicken at home...and do it my way!

Maybe 3 xs a year we have Kentucky. We're trying for low fat diet and I need low salt (my husband doesn't). But we bake, broil, fry, all kinds of stuff and my hubbie likes to grill them after they're par-boiled. So we've got the different ways covered. I want to do shish kabob chicken some day, too.

I also like to cook chicken at home and try to make different recipe, but when it comes to fried chicken I prefer KFC because I can't seem to make the same way they do. I don't go to KFC often, maybe twice or thrice a month.
