what tattoo have you???

hey there fellow mylotters..any one of you ever wanted a tattoo? or do you have one or more already? what kinda tattoo would you like to get? and if you have one already, what is it and does it have a meaning attached to it?
i've got two tattoos to date. i've always wanted a tattoo. when i was in school i sued to draw a butterfly above my ankle and i knew i would definitely get one with m,y first salary. almost a year or so after working, i finally got a tattoo doen on my ankle. i wanted my tattoo to resemble freedom, doing what ever you please with no one to hold you down. i still wanted a butterfly but that was too cliched and common, i wanted something different and unique. so i got a sea horse done. same meaning attached to it but its different.
got my second tattoo done about two months ago. designed it myself. i believe in keeping it small and cute. this time i got a cluster of stars near my wrist. i like the shape of a star and as a child i used to love staring into the night sky, star gazing. also to me, a star represents punk culture. i like avril lavigne. love her sens of style and attitude. her symbol is a star, shez got a tattoo of a star on her wrist as well. so now you know where i drew my inspiration from.
my next tattoo will be a musical note. i just love music and nothing better than to represent it by a musical note. will design it myself as well. havent decided where i'm gonna get it done though. what about you??

I have several tattoos, all of which are my own artwork. I have a portrait of Brandon Lee from the Crow, a dream catcher in the form of a spiderweb with a black widow spider on the web, I have a tattoo of my late Father's drum kit, a small sleeping dragon, and I have my date of birth with a copyright emblem.

Oh wow! I would LOVE your tattoos Goth, especially the one of Brandon Lee from the Crow, and of course the dragon one as we both love dragons and the crow! That is the best movie EVER!

Yeah! I think we dont put nearly enough pictures on mylot I would think every Tattoo post would have a picture to go with or how else are we going to give an honset informed opinion.

Like in the other discussion i will post this :
I have a medium sized dragon tribal on my back and i got it when i was 15.
My dad said i could only get it when i was 18 but when the moment was there i turned 15 and i got word of having a tattoo as a present.
a tattoo of my choice, style, length, colour.

Growing up, I wanted a tattoo. And when I was a teenager I told my parents I would someday get one. I didn't tell them out of spite; I just wanted them to be prepared for that because I knew they didn't want me to get one. However, when I was overseas because of a trip I had won, I got a tattoo. I was nineteen. It is on the inside of my right ankle. It is in cursive, blue ink. It says Free Spirit. I got the idea for it because one of my relatives called me a free spirit, and they said it like it was a bad thing. But I wanted to remind myself that I am a free spirit. No one can hold my spirit down, and no one can limit me but myself. I would like another tattoo, but I won't be getting one. I just don't think I'd look good with another one.

I have 7 tattoos in total and I am not done yet. The next tattoo that I get is going to symbolize my 2 girls and tattoo number 9 will be another bff tattoo I'm thinking with my bff! The last tattoo that I got done was a bff tattoo with her, we got it on our left wrists and it is 2 roses that join so no matter which way you look at it you can see the roses!!
