Alprazolam is in a group of drugs called benzodiapines. It acts by slowing down the brain chemicals that may become unbalanced. It is used to treat anxiety and panic disorders or anxiety caused by depression. Do any of you guys use an Alprazolam and what does it do? Are there any side effects of prolonged use?
