Do you believe, You had a past lives?

I really dont believe on these things and i think it just doesnt make any difference in this life even if it is true.I had submitted date of my birth and timing to one astroger and then she gave me detail of my past live.What she wrote was like fantasy.I dont believe on it but it was just a fun!!She told me i was born in Rome before and i was very rich and popular lady and i was trader.It was like fantasy ,too much good to believe.I just laughed off it.

I dont want to belive in that reincarnation stuff before, but when I read Paulo Coelho's brida, I was kind of convinced we have past lives. There are also times that we think we have been in the same place or we have been in the same scenario.rendezvous. It hasnt been proven really by science, but as far as my imagination is concerned I do believe in reincarnation. And isnt it cool, we used to have lives before us.

In an infinite universe, I believe it's possible. I often wonder about children who are killed before they've had time to know what life is about.

I really don't believe in re-incarnation, i am not religious and I believe that when we die our body get destroy with time, but that is my opinion, I am not a religious person,however there has been a lot of serious research about this subject, nothing has been conclusive yet, but I think one day we will have answers to those issues in a scientific way.

Yes, I firmly believe in reincarnation. The memories are stored in the energy of our mind/soul, the actual consciousness of our being. The physical body is just the vessel we use while in the physical life. It has no thoughts of its own, only the ability to sustain and regernerate itself. All of our thoughts and actions are done by the soul/mind not the body.

As a Zen practitioner I meditation a lot and I have had some incredible experiences of having lived in a different time. But as they are all in the mind, they are not happening here and now. The past is gone - therefore it isn't real. The future is not yet, therefore also unreal. There is only now - the only reality we have. In Zen, whilst past lives may prove interesting, the intention is to move on and teach the mind to be focused on the here and now. If the here an now is focused on and taken care of, there is no need to worry about the past, which cannot be undone, or the future, that hasn't yet arrived. _Derek

Hi vine, I believe in reincarnation and feel that there is a lot of proof that we have lived before. Many children remember past lives and thousands of cases have been documented. In the western world, parents get scared when small children start talking about having lived before and discourage it. That isn't a strange reaction because it isn't a part of our culture and they fear that the child will somehow be thought of as being "different". Nevertheless, there are still cases that come to light. I have known two children who remembered living before, one whose parents refused to listen to the child and would change the subject, the other was ready to listen. In both cases, all such memories had passed by ages eight or nine. You speak of hypnosis, I believe it to be a great tool in the right hands. Thousands of doctors use it on a regular basis to cure people of problems that can't be cured in any other way. I seems that when one discovers the cause of his problem, he gets better. I think we are spiritual beings and in between lives we see the big picture and when we decide to come back we come back in groups, that way we have a chance to right wrongs that happened in another lifetime. In every case it is almost certain that we have all known our parents, siblings, sons, daughters and friends before. It's the same for someone to whom we have an instant dislike. Sometimes the root cause of a problems we have today, may have started in a lifetime several thousand years ago but doctors who regress patients have discovered that the person recovers when she understands the cause, and this is true whether it happened six years ago or six thousands years ago. Since I'm a Christian and it says in the Bible, "It has been appointed unto man once to die and then the judgment," I don't believe in reincarnation. If we're open to him, Satan can put all kinds of ideas into our heads, even a previous life; but apart from Satan filling one's head with nonsense, I have never come across any evidence for reincarnation.

Actually this might seem strange me being a Christian but yes I believe in the possibility of re-incarnation. I don't know that I ever had a past life. I have dreams sometimes of having lived 100s of years ago but I credit that with some of the kinds of books I like to read.

I actually don't believe in reincarnation. I believe that our time on earth is limited by the boundaries of one lifetime and that could be a short life or it could be a long life. However, the lifetime that we have the opportunity to experience is the only lifetime that we will spend on earth. After our life has ended then there are two places where your soul can end up, these are heaven and hell. Once you have reached either of these final destinations, that is the end of your mortal soul.

I know hypnosis is a conscious effort between two parties. One cannot be hypnotized unless willing. Reincarnation, nope I don't believe in that.

Growing up, my mother always dabbled in the occult and she has been told that in her past life, she was a merchant who drowned. People believe what they like to believe. Those who believe in past lives say that big moles or birthmarks are supposedly old wounds from past lives. I was given a past life seance (therapy or whatever) and was told that I was a priest/priestess during the time of the Pharaohs. It makes me want to laugh because I have always been fascinated with the pyramids, but in no way will I connect this interest to a past life.

hi vine no I really do not believe in reincarnation as some say they might come back as a dog or cat, that to me is utter nonsense,but again that is only my own opinion. Yes I guess it would be related to mind but I am a protestant and we do not believe in reincarnation. I am not saying its impossible for like Shakespheare so eloquently put it " there are more things in heaven and earth, than are dreamed of in your philosophy." so while I do not believe in reincarnation, I just do not know if it were possible. Some things that one does not believe in sometimes do have so validity. but I really do not believe myself in reincarnation.

hypnosis is a way to get people to say the truth, not to control or absorb the energy of our brain. Whatever is asked of the hypnotized they will answer with truth in what they have experienced since the present or past. There are two kinds of science that white and black, white is good purpose and black is otherwise. I'm not sure the data is stored where, but I'm sure it's actually the reincarnation exists because even though we lost memory but can still be returned if the mind has a strong ability.

I am not convinced or have faith that we have past lives. Actually hypnosis is consists more of our intellectual creativeness and reality mixed together in our sub-conscious mind. And the idea of having a past life contradicts our belief in Creation for christians.
