Religion had hypnotized people. So they can't see the truth. They are being used my religion. It's just like, when somebody hypnotized someone and give him a piece of paper and said to him, this is 20 dollar. Then he starts thinking that paper money and keep that paper in his pocket. This things happen in hypnosis. I am the eye witness, of this incident. when he taken out from hypnosis then, he amaze, from that paper.. why he had keep that useless paper in his pocket. So this is called hypnotized. You are being hypnotized from everywhere. And remember, easy, kind, serious person can hypnotized easily. Country are hypnotizing it's people. Politicians are hypnotizing peoples, they are hypnotized in such a way then can even die.. Talking about military, military leaders are hypnotizing their shoulder... they hypnotized in such a way, they can go for a war..they are ready to die.. in war it's 99% possibilities to die...it's not only that they will killed others...more possibilities being killed by others... it's a life and death ...no body want's to die..they go to fight because they are hypnotized... this much...it's too long... Personally i don't like being hypnotized from someone else...i want to be aware from this non-sense. I don't want to be used by others...what about you? what is your opinion about this?

I'm very sure that my faith and my religion did not hypnotized me; it's my own free will that I believe in my religion. When you are a true citizen of your own country, you are a part of it's government and if your government wage war against another country it's your duty to serve for your country. This is what they called nationalism. Some wars are wrong or maybe for economic reasons and it's very devastating on the part of peoples lives. That's why if we choose a leader, choose the one that is not war freak.

I am not quite sure whether I believe in hypnotism. I mean, I believe it's possible as I've seen it done, but even then is it really real? That I am not sure of. Well I guess if it is real it is wrong, and people should not be using it to the detriment of others.

Yes, as therapist and Zen practitioner myself, I have realized this and been saying to my friends and family for years. Some friends just don't believe me, but I guess they are too deeply hypotised to be able to see truth. Through my Zen meditation, I get to understand how I have been effected at deeper and deeper levels of consciousness. Once I can see how it's all put together, I can then let go of it. It's the work of a lifetime though really, but in Zen we say it is the journey, not the destination that is of value. Nothing my change, but we have the choice whether it changes or not, if we can just awaken from our hypnotic sleep into enlightenment. _Derek

I agree. Changing belief is changing nothing. In Zen, we believe nothing and experience everything by contemplation. _Derek

hmm, Derek, i found the one who knows me. That is you. You understand me. Ya they were hypnotized very very deeply. They can't see anything. To get out of this mess, little awareness can do. It's not that we have to choose...to choose is really bad...to change is really bad...changing religion is not a great thing happening in the life.. Changing religion means just changing believe..nothing really new.. I don't like to call that change.. -vine.

People are being hypnotized by others who have the power to influence others. I think a strong personality can't be hypnotized by others. He or she has the will force to judge what is right and what is wrong. He or she has the capacity of judgment what has to do and what has not to do. I think hypnotism means to create influence on others. If someone has will force he or she can't be used by others.

It's impossible to not be hypnotized. It's part of our day to day basis being sucked into trance. During my study of this i was also suprised that we are being hypnotized and we all go to trance everyday. Even when we're alone we get hypnotized by ourselves.

True, propagators of false religion hypnotize their followers. They put them in type of a trance to an extent that they are enamored by the religion. They lead them in a direction away from God by promising them the things they love the most. In religion people want to experience pleasure. They make them sing and dance until they forget themselves. People seek an escape from suffering. They promise them that escape, and in the end they find themselves in greater sufferings. People want to shirk work; these people are quick to recognize them. They tell them the futility of money and they swindle them of all their money. In fact, religion is nothing but a crutch. It is a remedy for those who are suffering from malady of discontentment. Those who do not want to take pain to look for God, seek refuge in religion in the hope that the priests, and Mullahs would buy for them the ticket for heaven.

Well, yeah, that is sort of the point with some religions. They want your money, you loyalty, they want you, and for some religions if you don't convert, then you die. Many religions have had, or still have this mentality. Again, many wars have started over religion.

The term you are looking for here is not "hypnotize"; it is "brainwash". There are major differences. Most brainwashing starts in the home by other people who have already been brainwashed. "This is the way it has always been done, always will be done, and to even think of a different way is wrong and you will be punished." Brainwashing continues in church/temple/mosque, etc. with "religious instruction" and in the schools. A few people break free from this conditioning on their own; but, most require exposure to different ways of thinking through books, media, and the Internet before they start to consider that everything they have been taught may be questioned and/or challenged. That is why so many governments and religious groups/organizations try to control their members exposure to these mediums and censure anything which does not support them and their beliefs.

Hypnotism is not an easy thing to do.. And even if one manages to do it, they have to be someone qualified and it's all in the records.. UNless one is self taught, and that will be a different thing.. FOr, hypnotism will be used in a wrong way, and be causing diasters instead.. haha =D Hypnotism annd brain washing are two different things.. Going to war, is part of brain washing, and it's definitely not hypnotism..

All people have the ability to be hypnotized, but the response and reaction that you get out of it are related to how willing the person that has been hypnotized is with the situation. That said, I think that you are able to reveal a lot about people that you would not be able to learn about them otherwise. This, I believe is the most important and practical use of hypnosis.

there r so many religions in this world and it can be really tough to find the right religion to suit someone in a good way. i guess that could possibly be why there r so many people now who r not in any religion. but there r also some that r in more than one religion.

"Religion is the opiate of the masses" -Karl Marx This quote pretty much sums up what you are trying to say. Religion is something that has been used to control people since it's inception; in fact many would argue that control was it's entire purpose to begin with. I would be one of these people. I feel that the main purpose of religion is the same as any other government; to set forth laws and restrictions on a populace of people. In fact, the Catholic church behaves just like any other government. They have rules, regulations, a leader, a capitol, and a people. The only difference is that their followers are members of hundreds of other governments, countries, companies, and organizations around the world. In many respects, the Catholic church is the most powerful organization on the planet. But I feel that there is no need to follow the churches of the world in order to follow God. They behave just like any other middle man; you can have a relationship with your God without them. Eliminate religion from the equation, and get to know your spiritual self on a far more personal level than you ever imagined possible.

hi, mezulu Ya you are right , i also think the same. In the past, the country/government , everything is religion, they create , make laws..every thing... not only laws, they create fear... religion create fear to mankind.. fear of being sent to hell... If you do bad , you will sent to hell, they say like that... You have stated really good thoughts, i really appreciate them. and i am totally agree with you. -vine
