Has anyone been on a cruise on a luxury Ocean Liner ?

I had always dreamt of going on an ocean cruise on a luxurious Liner like the Queen Elizabeth. However it has only remained a dream because it is completely unaffordable for me. Therefore i nowadays watch Great cruises on Discovery`s Travel and Living channel giving me a secondhand experience of the travels of the lucky passengers. Its not the same but something is better than nothing, isn`t it? Have any of you mylotters ever been on a seacruise with the wind blowing on your hair and the salty sea spray flying on your face?If so, then please share share your experiences and i shall put myself in your place and dream about it.Thank you.

I have only been on the Big Red Boat twice and a Delta Queen Steamship cruise up the Mississippi river. I would love to take a barge cruise in Europe. That is my dream.

yes i did that was a great adventure of my life. from luzon to visayas. i want to do that again. i enjoy traveling any where around the country or even around the world.

Like you, the only experience that I have had of going on a cruise is that that I've experienced vicariously through someone else. It is a dream of mine that I will eventually have the opportunity to go on a cruise. The actual dream cruise for both my husband and myself is to take a cruise around Austrailia. I think that the reason we would like to take a cruise there is because of the fact that it seems so exotic to us.

and same here- it is unaffordable and I believe to spend the hard earned money to on something worth than just blowing up for a couple of days' pleasure.
and yes I also see the same channel as it also gives lot of info on various related subjects where we can only dream about.

Well ! I have not been on such luxurious sea liners but I have traveled to many ports in my country in small ships.
