While I have read fan stories online, I like talking books and regular books better. I listen to the audio in the car - currently listening to copies of a 1950-52 radio show called Nightbeat and reading a sf book at my client's.
The thing about the fan stories is that they aren't available any where else, and reading them interferes with my mylotting!

I love normal books, i like to sit in my bed and read for hours on end (during the night time) the bad thing is, when i rock up for school the next day im tired :(
I also like ebooks in pdf files, my favourite ones are military stuff, like the US survival manual (i dont know why i do not have any militiary ambitions whatsoever) it is quite weird.

I certainly like bests books, the ones you buy from the store and that you can hold in your hands. I find that it's easier for me to follow and easier for me to read than ebooks or audio books, talking books. It's just the type of books that I prefer.

I prefer a real book that I can hold and turn the pages. E-books are cool, I'd probably be more into them if I had a Kindle. Unless someone gives me one for free, I probably won't spend that large amount on a Kindle when I can save all that money and just go buy the paperbacks.
Maybe if Kindle offered free books after you paid that insane amount I would consider getting one, but as it is right now, that's just too much money to spend on reading when you don't have to.

I like the normal books best. One of the reasons is that you can flip back and forth as you like. Although it can be quite bulky to carry along, but I still like it.
Ebooks give me a headache. If I read it on the computer, I can only concentrate for a few minutes and my eyes hurt. If you try to read it on the cellphone, it strains your eyes and have a tendency to spoil your eyesight.
I have never tried audio books though. I think it can be quite good, especially those motivational audio books. But I'm not really an audio person though, so I may not be attracted to this kind of books. Maybe...

I love reading books. Its not possible to buy books every now and then as they sometimes proves a bit expensive,so I prefer borrow it from a library. I often visit bookstores where I could sit and read books.
I tried reading e-books.For me they are quiet cheaper and saves lots of paper. I read E-books,but not regularly... It's easy to download, and I even read twilight saga on e-books.I prefer saving the book in a CD and I read it whenever I get time.I never tried to listen an audio book.In my opinion,it demands a lots of patience.

I like books that I can read myself. I have a bit of a grudge against eBooks. I think that technology and books shouldn't go together. I'll die the day my books can crash like computers. Audio books I don't listen to because I can read faster than whoever they've got reading the book aloud. When I'm on a road trip or out jogging, I prefer listening to audio books instead of music, but otherwise I prefer the book I can read myself.

Oh, yes! I love books! I used to have a booikstore, as a matter of fact. I had it from 1984 to 1986. I found out that I like to read better than I thought I did when I had this business. I guess I prefer the regular books, myself. I never have used talking books or ebooks. We were also one of the first businesses here in town that rented movies and vcrs. We had to go out of business Christmas of 1986 because we didn't do any good. Kathy.

I am definitely a purist when it comes to books. I think that the ereaders are pretty strange contraptions, and I don't want to own one of those. I've seen them in person and I didn't think that it was neat at all. Then there are the books on cassette (or CD) and I don't care for those at all, although they can be decent when you are on a long road trip.
As long as I have the option of reading a real book, then that will be my reading material of choice.

Ebooks are very easy to store them. However, my eyes hurt after a while looking at the screen, so I can`t read ebooks, and I prefer regular paper books. I don`t use talking books as it`s very likely that someone will interrupt you with some noise while listening to it, and having to rewind again is bothersome

I still prefer books - books which we can flip the pages. No doubt the other forms of books like the ebooks and audio books are convenient, I don't think they will take over readership in the near future.

i never have time to read anymore except for magazines but if i did i like regular books.. i dont like that it kills trees but pc screens and im guessing kindles would be the same in hurting my eyes and i would not be able to pay attention to listen to one
