Fuel tank being Empty - AT what level you become consious while driving?

Certainly different people have different attitude while dealing with situations. I feel myself a bit conscious while driving, as soon as half of the fuel tank is consumed and try to get it refilled at earliest. I think my such nature is developed due to so many reasons including the vehicle physical condition & its maintenance, if average consumption is not ascertained or threats on road etc. Do you feel comfortable even till empty level of fuel tank is near? How quick you are while refilling of the tank? Thanks for sharing. Aliasad

I try to ensure that I always have at least half a tank of petrol in the car at all times. The car I now drive is quite greedy for fuel so I have to watch the consumption a lot harder now. The petrol gauge has an indicator to warn me when I am running low on petrol, but I still check it carefully.

well, i tank everytime I see that there is less then 1/6 of the fuel tank, because i have enough for the next 60-100 km and there is no problem at all!
