Time for something healthy

Since my brother brought fish paste that we call bagoong. So, I asked them to buy veggies for dinner to accompany the bagoong. We have steamed okra and sweet potato tops. Yummy with lots of steamed rice

Just reading about it made my mouth water!
A lot of veggies are good with bagoong. not just steamed veggies. You could try cooking up pakbet, or ensaladang talong ( grilling eggplants then masshing them with unripe mangoes, onion, vinegar and bagoong) w/c goes great with fried meat.

Good. I think a balance meal is the most healthy one. A good amount of rice meat veggies fish fruits is needed.

wow! agree that this is very yummy but not really that healthy. Bagoong is salty and more rice makes your blood sugar rise. Eat more of the veggies though to balance the effect. Happy eating!!!
