Will One Piece end before i die?

I really like One Piece. There has never been a time that I got bored watching it. To be honest with you, I want it to keep on going and going. I feel like I don't want it to end. LOL! I really like the story and to be more frank, I think it is better than Naruto and Bleach. Just my opinion.

One Piece started around 13 years ago.. and the story is about half way through (according to Oda-sensei).. i think One Piece will probably end in around 10-15 years.. I think Oda-sensei is older than the both of us... so we should worry more about him than us.

Haha.. me too.. I really like the anime and manga.. Just hope i WOULD end before my time is up..

Well, that depends. Will you be dying in the next decade or so? One Piece is currently past it's tenth year of its serialized run, and according to Oda, the story is in its halfway mark, story-wise. Of course, that doesn't automatically mean that the latter half will take the same amount of time to be told as the earlier half (for all I know, it could be longer or something, haha), but considering that all the players are available and the plot threads are many and convoluted, I think it'll easier since all he needs to do are resolve them. Plus, I'm quite loving this arc, so the length of time it needs doesn't bother me much. ...well, as long as Shounen Jump doesn't do for Oda what they did for Toriyama, of course. Then maybe it'll last longer, haha! *fondly thinks of DBZ*

haha... Maybe you'll never get to see the ending ... just like Naruto... They keep adding up new episodes. Nevertheless, I still want more episodes to come ... I always check up on the anime and manga - and I never seem to be tired of it!

well, i think that the manga/anime has progressed to half if the real "adventure" so, my guess is that there would be like 900-1000 total episodes before one piece ends. LOL

Haha...the first thing that I thought about was "How old is this person?" I don't watch the One Piece anime but it is a pretty long series. But that is my basic thought too whenever I think about Detective Conan. That one is even longer than One Piece. I recall reading a few years back that the series was coming to an end soon but that doesn't even seem to be the case. I love the show and all but it doesn't look like it's going anywhere.

haha good question! well some weeks ago i read in an anime magazine that eiichiro oda anounced in an interview that one piece story is getting to half of what he had planned.... so if you are planning to die in the next 12 years might be... because if i remember one piece started in the 98 so it will be at least until the 2023 i guess. if you love it like me is a lot of anime and something that might you share with your kids haha
