I recently came across Glowad a place for writers to get paid for their writing. They pay as high as 15 bucks per article. I'd like to know how many people have come across it. And I'd like your opinions. They seem to be a really nice site. It is glowad.com

I hadn't come across it, so thank you for mentioning it. It is worth pointing out that their conditions for submission are quite stringent: "Glowad.com is not looking for fillers, We are only looking for great articles! We look for very good writers - who produce fantastic works, and whose materials will enhance our customers’ publications. At the same time this helps create opportunities for our writers to gain exposure in a crowded market place and improve their chances of career success." You can, it is true, write about whatever you want but I suspect that they will only choose articles for which there is a ready market. That is how they can guarantee a price of $12 - $15 per article. It would behove you to choose your subjects carefully. There is an online Library at http://glowad.com/Library.html which should give some idea of the standard of writing which is acceptable and, possibly, some ideas about the subject matter which they use. There are plenty of people who can write well but do not know where to place their articles to earn the best money. Many article publishing sites on the Internet do not pay anything like the sort of price which a good writer ought to expect and Glowad, by being selective and, presumably, having done research into the places which pay well, are acting as agents who will kick-start a good writer into a professional writing career.

They say that they read every article submitted, so I would expect that they determine the quality, just as any normal magazine publisher would, in fact. Any professional writer has to go through a round of submissions and rejections until they find a publisher who trusts their work and will accept them as a regular contributor. Agencies, such as Glowad seem to be, must also build up a system of trust with their clients and the logical way to do this is to pre-select only articles of a certain standard to present to their client base.

This is the first time that I've heard about Glowad. I'll look into it. What kind of articles do you write there? Have you been paid by Glowad? My apologies for asking. Happy MyLotting!

I came across the site on an article. And I have submitted my article to them. I'm yet to see the outcome. Many writers claim to have been paid constantly by them. I sent my article to them yesterday. I'm so anxious to reeceive feedback from them!!!

Thank you for posting this. I haven't heard of this site but I did post something on a similar site called associatedcontent.com they say that you get paid up to $20 per article however I just started on there so I can't say whether it's true or not. I'm gonna have to take a look at the site you found though :) Thanks for the information.
