How do you plan to spend your online earnings?

Hello dear members,
I must confess that I really haven't planned anything on how to spend my online earning. I actually joined myLot because I love writing and have a motivation to help people in any way I can. I was never that serious about earning money online. But now that I already have my first payout deposited in paypal, I think its time to plan a way to spend the money in good and useful purpose. I have thought about investing this money but not in another business. I planned to buy a few books as I think nothing can be a better investment. But then I hesitated and thought if that would be a hasty decision. I stopped for consideration but haven't yet come up with anything concrete.
Do you plan on spending the extra money you earn from internet? What do you propose to do with the money? Do you start planning even before the payout?
Thanks in advance for your response.
God bless you

I pay bills...go grocery shopping...pay for unexpected expenses...and try to save some..paypal makes all of this very easy to do with the use of their debit card

I really didn't know that paypal issues debit cards of their own. For some reason my credit card is not accepted by paypal and that too due a very queer reason shown by the bank. I was actually going to get a debit card for this reason. Thanks for the response. You've always been quite helpful

i really don't have plans of what i wish to buy for myself from my earnings online. i only know that when i got the money, i have to pay the bills and what i earn from online could be an additional budget to what less enough i earn from my regular job.

Hi,
You know these government officials, half of their strength is their weakness. They just enjoy harassing people by giving wrong or partial information on that. I applied for an unlimited broadband scheme, which, as they said, I should have got within one week. Now the official knew nothing about it, yet she didn't ask me to go speak to the engineers. There arose a misunderstanding and I came back thinking that it would be made unlimited that very month. So I did it, and oh God, I did it great. For one month I have been downloading stuffs, documentaries, movies, tutorials and so many things. Then came the bill.
It was a terrible experience. Now I don't have that unlimited connection anymore. If I ever get unlimited connection, it would be from another vendor, preferably a private vendor this time.

Hi,
Yes, you can buy goods online and there are fees that will be deducted. You also can transfer the money into your bank account and then spend it from there. The latter will be far better and more efficient way of spending the money. Also a certain feels will be deducted depending on the country of residence. You should consult the faqs and terms and conditions pages of paypal to get a clear picture of the matter. Here are a few links you may like to check out.

I am going to pay for World of Warcraft and it's monthly fees with my myLot earnings, which is even a little bit hard if you don't get 50 cents a day (which I don't)...
I don't even know if I can get WoW (World of Warcraft) yet, because I have to get a new computer first, and that is not going to be cheap because it's going to be a MacBook Pro. So now my myLot earnings are definitely not going to be enough, and I think that it is the same thing for everything that is online. The only option for me is to make some "real" work, but I don't know if I can get some, because I am a student and I don't have that much time...
After a while, if I have got those two, then I will start saving for a moped or something like that. After that I would buy clothes and other "random" stuff

Hi,
I wanted to play WoW so much because I've heard a lot about it. But I never actually get the chance. Even when I took the unlimited broad band connection, I forgot to download this game. But instead I downloaded Diablo II expansion, which I loved very much. I have never played online or over LAN. I guess that is really exciting experience. Yeah, this can only be a part time job, but not a reliable fixed source of money, which a REAL job can be. Thanks so much for this interesting response.

Having this conversation with you makes me feel this terrible urge to play WoW myself. I used to play games, I really loved them. Now that I don't get time, I can't play them. Now, I just have to satisfy myself by talking about them.

Yeah,
WoW really is a great game, but I at the same time don't suggest it for some, because it can get someones REALLY addicted...
I myself am already a bit addicted, but I think that I can handle it. You will just have to get the 15$ easy from somewhere, so you won't have to play all the time, so that you feel that you get something for your money
I know that is is only a "part time job", but I think that I could pay my "WoW expenses" with myLot

I know there´s money. Not to get rich, but to go places if you wish and work for it. I paid for an air fare to the Caribbean with my last savings on January 2009.
Now I´m preparing for another vacations.

LOL . Let me suggest you this. Don't buy anything for yourself, for that you can do later, any time. Buy something for your mom and give it to her as a gift. It doesn't have to be precious, but it must be very special and meaningful. That would be more effective in persuading her doing what you want her to do. Thanks so much for this response.

HI,
well... as far I earn... I usually spend on something is important such as food for my children and whatever they need. However, lately... I got pay pretty good from my work and I don't have to spend my MYLOT money at all... so I think I will keep it for another time. it is not necessary to spend all the money you have.

I do not have a specific plan to spend my online earnings. I usually accumulate the amount so that I can transfer them to my bank account. But the exchange rate now really sucks! So I'm waiting for it to pick up a little.
Sometimes I do spend on things online, but these may be just WANTS and not needs, so now I'm trying to be more careful with spending it online.
I should develop a plan, maybe to reinvest the money to grow it into something bigger. I'm still thinking about it.

That is a great way to invest your money. This is also a reasonably risk-free zone where you can invest. Investing in forex etc needs extensive market study and intuition, because it is all about anticipating others' anticipations. Thanks.

How was your experience investing in forex? did you see any profit? Is it easy to earn some good money investing? I'm curious about that but I don't want to risk my money... at least not before having a clue on what to do and what do don't so if you can give some kind of guidance would be sweet ... is that too much to ask? :D

Hi getwiswa,
Congratuations on your payment!
I have been earning online for quite a time now so I know xactly what I want to do with my money. I save every cent I earn (about $100 more or less each month on several sites) to give me 2 or 3 weeks of luxury every year. I like to travel and have vacations and my budget just does not have that item. So I earn it online. This year the trip will be nearer and less expensive as I had to have shoulder surgery and some of the saved money went for some extras I needed then. But still, next week I am going to the south of Chile (my country) for a week. I´ll see volcanoes, native forests and will bathe in hot springs.
I don´t know where I´ll go next year but I do know that my online earnings will help.
Take care!

That sounds like a really good plan, Marguicha...
I'm trying to work my online earnings to reach $100 a month, but it has been challenging. At this moment, I'm only earning about $30 per month on a really good month.
How do you earn your money online? Do you mind sharing?

For me that actually depends. I use the money to buy little extras I may need so I don't have to use my checking account. I don't think it wise to use my checking acount and tap myself out too soon, seeing as I barely get enough money each month to pay the bills.

Hello,
I have planned to open a new account solely to hold my online earning. This way I can track the online earning activities and also treat it as a separate fund. It would be easier to take decisions on whether to spend or invest the money, and on what percent. Though it is quite a meager amount right now, but I am foreseeing a great fund arising out of this earning in future. Thanks so much for your valuable contribution.

I don't like to be commanded by boss. I want to get my daily earnings fully from the internet. So that's why i start to make online store, and find many ways to get dollar online. Ahem! If you marry someone or, if you already have a girlfriend I would suggest you should bring her under your referral. To have a fixed but regular amount of online earning each month you have to work for years. There are several ways to earn through internet, but they take lot of endeavor and time. Also you have to make some critical decisions on investments. But if you just stick to your dreams, you will surely prosper in few years. Thanks so much for sharing your views with us.

I plan on trying to save most of my online earnings and I'm also trying to find good investment sites or programs so I can try and turn my okay online earnings into something a little more. I also spend my online earnings on random stuff from ebay sometimes or upgrades for my online earnings websites so that I can gain more referrals or something like that.

I would say that ebay is definitely a trusted site but it may have members that aren't the best at customer service. Whenever you go to buy something their just look at the user that is selling the item you want to buy. They will have a star rating which will show how good of satisfaction percentage their customers in the past have had with them and you can also view comments that past customers have left the seller.

Hi,
I hope you are not planning to keep that in paypal, because I am not sure they pay the interest. I think I am gonna open a new account solely to keep my online earning. That will be easier to manage and also any significant change can be measured and further investments can be made with less difficulty. Thanks so much for your response.

I use part of my won internet money to pay some bills and other part of my money to invest for bigger profit, which is risky, but I don't care, when I don't pay anything from my pocket. I have some plans for future, but all depends on circumstances and off course, how hard I will work on maximizing my profits.

Hi kingsizewe,
Yeah I know investment is risky, but how are we supposed to grow our income without taking that risk? Some people really do earn a lot from internet, so much that some of them quit their full time job for this. Now that is something which I will never have the guts to do. Thanks so much for this contribution.

i don't really have a plan because my plan is to save what i have earned, you know as extra savings. but of course, when i fancy something like a bag or what have you then i use my funds. it takes a while before i withdraw my earnings from paypal, and mostly because of emergency expenses. as much as possible though i want to accumulate them then if ever i do spend it, more on big-ticket items.

Yeah, but when you put the money into banks your money grows. But there is no such provision in paypal. I am seriously thinking about not withdrawing my money, as I know I will be spending it too quickly.

Hello!
Well, i don't transfer the money to my bank account immediately. Only when i need the money do I transfer the funds. This keeps me from spending it - as you know it is easier to spend if its readily available. Unless of course I put them in my time deposit so its a more guaranteed that i wont be spending them.
I rarely do online shopping - it's more on disciplining myself and keeping me from buying impulsively. But when I do, yes, I use my paypal funds. It just happened once though in the two years i've earned online.
my philosophy is this: i want to earn online to add to my savings more than to add expendable funds. frugal frugal me, i know! hahaha!

I did plan on what to do with my online earnings, and the funny thing is i plan to splurge it on ebay! hahaha. since withdrawing it would cost me, why not just use it to buy me some clothes and tons of cheap second hand books!
Books are great investments! although saving it would be the best thing to do

You seem to be a frequent buyer from eBay. Please tell me something about eBay. If I buy something from there, is there any chance that I may not get the right thing? I mean not all sellers are genuine there. How do you identify what to buy and from whom to buy from? Do I have to pay the shipping cost too? Please share your experience with eBay.
