A phone usually tells something about yourself. If you use a slide, you are more of a texter. If you are a flip, you tend to call more often then not. If you use a bar, you are pretty much even. I use bar phones :) What kind of phone design do you use?

It actually depends, but I've tried using a slide, flip, and bar.
There was a time when I was hooked on flips, that I got myself a motorola razr (long time ago). I just found it cool to open it when you're gonna take a call, and then slam it shut when you're done. Lol.
As for the bar, I've had a lot of bars, but I don't really like them. I think they're a little bit boring or ordinary, so yea.
Now I have a slide (T-Mobile Wing), and I like it. I like the feeling of sliding it, for some reason. I'm weird, yea I know. Haha. I also like that it's touchscreen so I have the option to either use the virtual keyboard or the real keyboard. :)

i have tried bar, flip fone, and slide phone! i came back to a bar phone! haha
flip was okay.. samsung had very nice flip phones and they are classy but i end up always flipping back and forth, playing with the phone...
slide was of samsung as well, the problem was only 1 year of use, the slide is not working very well i had to pay 1000 pesos tohave the slide mechanism replaced only to know the fix is not permanent coz the issue keeps happening only after 2 months.
bar phones sure are a safe choice...

I use the candy bar one. But I also have the flip phone. The flip phone that I have has been repaired already because of the problem with the flex because of the flipping or excessive opening or just maybe wrong way of using the phone. I believe that the bar phone is sturdier. I also have the slider but I still don't encounter problems with it.

Well my phone doesn't really fit your description :) I use a slide, but I rarely text msg at all. I got the slide with keyboard b/c I like to take a lot of notes and write things in my calendar and things like that.
My husband has a flip phone, and yet he texts all the time! He even has one of the texting plans b/c he texts so much.
So... doesn't really fit all the time I guess :)

I think you're little off on your thoughts. I personally don't like text all that much but one of the first "digital" phone I had was a slide phone. I didn't really start using text messages until I got my first flip phone. Then because of my work, I had to get a blackberry so I got pearl 8120. When that broke down, I bought bold 9700. Both are considered as candy bar type phone. I'm not sure it's considered as text but I use it more for emails. Then about 3 weeks ago on my vacation, I dropped my 9700 in the ocean so I bought sony ericsson tm717 which is a flip phone. It does have "push email" option on it but I don't use it much. I only use that options for receiving emails. Now everybody's text messaging me. So I guess I'm using flip phone more for text messages.

I have used all 3, but I had used more flip phones than the other 2. Now I have a Samsung Omnia 2, which is a Windows Mobile phone with a thouchscreen. I like the phone I have now the best of all though. It does take sometime to get used to the touchscreen, but they are very nice phonbes for sure. It has lots of apps, and that I like too. Tkae care, and happy myloting.
