Visiting a near (or distant) landmark or just doing a nature walk with friends for fun is surely one of the best things to do on the weekend when the weather is good - it's healthy and interesting and I really don't know someone who doesn't enjoy it. Do you have fun doing nature walks on the weekends? Do you have the habit to visit often a sertain landmark among nature in your region? How long does it take to get there?

I do nature trips every weekend last year. Since I live within the city, it would be really hard for people living in the city to go out and just have nature trips. But I myself like doing it. Right now, I am living in a nature-city-like area where after work I can walk going home and enjoy the nature inside the metropolis. :)

I live on the edge of a coastal town. It is only a ten minute drive to the beach from my house. I have two dogs and I love to take them for a walk at Sand Bay. It is a wild looking beach with sand dunes that my dogs adore racing up and down. I like to walk along Sand Point, a narrow stretch of land that goes out to sea. I can see spectacular views. Past there is a walk to Middle Hope. I sometimes drive over to Clevedon which is half an hour away by car. It has the Salt House Fields. I love to do that walk and look out at the picturesque sea views. I live next to fields that are lovely for walking my dogs. My toddler son is disabled so I have to go on wheelchair suitable walks these days. I will never forget a walk with a baby carrier to Cheddar Gorge. It was a challenging walk with amazing views of high cliffs and the green countryside.
