Mylotters did you ever encountered this?

I was going to post a new discussion. Typing my whole discussion straightly here… Oh men! I noticed that this discussion is a bit long.. Longer than what I usually do… I attached photo, then inserted photo tags. And finally clicked the submit button… And you know what happened next? My internet connection suddenly became limited or no connectivity. Okay I lost everything I typed… Cannot even do the same coz everything just slipped to my mind… simultaneously… Actually this happened to me thrice or four times already but the first ones are just responses to our fellow mylotters.
Does this thing ever happen to you? If yes, did you try to retype your response or discussion again? Or you feel lazy to do the retyping and left the discussion already… Well the first time it happened to me, I tried the back button, it goes back however, my response is no longer there. I just went back to the blank response page, wherein we are to write our comments and views.
Well end up retyping again… but my response is definitely not like the first… I like the way I arranged the wordings -- views more in my first post. And yes it is definitely shorter too.

Hi there,
Yes this happens to me constantly. I don't know why but in the past couple of months, I get logged out of Mylot after so much time on here. I will post a fairly long and heartfelt post only to find that I've gotten logged out. I have to type fast and think it out before I type or it's lost to who knows where? Sometimes, I retype it and you are right...it is never the same. other times, I'm just frustrated and I move on and come back later.

Hi sid556! I Guess you are also typing your responses straight to the box... Actually, what I am doing right now is, I Copy my response first-- not necessarily paste it to word docs or notepad... just in case the internet connection encountered some problem again... I can paste it back to the box... or to notepad or word docs if ever connection is really broken...
I suggest you do that to, to be safe... Don't let your ideas be spoiled...

Sometime this happends, when im responding to discussions or starting new ones, i tyoe the whole thing out, then when i press submit it just lags and then guess what? the page cannot be displayed, so whenever it lags like that when i post, i quickly copy what i typed and then use it to attempt to post again later, i hope this has helped you.

I have that problem sometimes and not only on mylot - it is really annoying. The computer seems to know when I have forgotten to copy a message and chooses that time to not post correctly. I usually try again but the words never flow so smoothly. I hope it does not happen to you very often. I have not found time to come to mylot in ages but really miss it.

Hello magicalmerlin! Yes it is very annoying... Why now??? Well you know what, I think you are right, I have the same observation... it happens always when I forgot to create a copy first before hiting the button... May be there is some conivance happening between the internet provider and electric company, huh... Retyping our post makes us stay longer, the longer we stay online the higher our electricity will goes... just joking...

Hello lovelyn,
If you have something to say, most specially if it's in your head i bet you end up writing a part of a good novel :D. but you know, it's part of sharing your thoughts with the other people.
I have been recently active in online politics and i must say i never been this idealistic in sharing my thoughts about our election and candidates for this may 10.

Hi letran! So who is your bet for this coming election ... Gosh! It is only few weeks from now... I was actually receiving some emails from unknown and saying this and that to a certain candidate (positive)... I am choosing between two candidates... Is it okay to do the minimini minimo???

whoa! that has happened to me 2-3 times now. that gets really frustrating and i just skip my comments for that discussion altogether :) i start answering other discussions. but if its a long post then it would be an interesting one so if i come across that discussion again, i go back and type it out again . but ofcourse its not the same as the first one. in fact it is not as elaborate too!
