Are you exercising and eating properly? Lack of exercise and a poor diet either one or a combination of the two can be very detrimental to your sleep life!! Stress is also a contributing factor.

Those naps might be the problem. Go and get some fresh air in the morning or evenings. Make yourself tired. Also, for a day or two, don't sleep in the afternoon. If you have been sleeping a lot during the day and don't have enough physical activity, then obviously your body doesn't need much rest at night. That will mess up your sleep pattern. Another thing. You said that your exams just got over. If you were staying up late at night during that time, then your body clock might have gotten messed. Try to get it back on track. :)

i know that feeling. i suffer from insomnia too. its like my brain won't stop functioning at all even though i'm tired and require sleep. it just keeps woring, thinking random, irrelevant and silly stuff like what do i make for lunch tomorrow or what do i wear to work tomorrow. the consequences of sleep deprivation - the next morning i wake up and move around like a zombie and i'm just so lethargic at what ever i do. any one out there with any suggestions on how i can catch some shut eye?? heard drinking a glass of warm milk at night before going to bed helps but i'm not a big fan of milk. any other ideas?

I have that problem too, often. I really hate it when I can't sleep. One thing that sometimes works for me, is that I try to clear my mind take a deep breath, and picture in my head a wall. I envision the wall really carefully, deciding if it's brick or stone, and looking at every little part of it. I tell myself that all my problems, worries, and stresses on the opposite side of the wall. I tell myself there's a door in the wall, and in the morning I'll go through that door face on my stresses. But for now, all the problems are over there and not over where I am.every time my mind wanders, and I start to feel stressed again, I bring my thoughts back to the wall . I don't know work for you, but it sometimes works for me. It's kind of like a guided meditation that supposed to make you relax.

Have you tried a bit of meditation? Close your eyes, and envision a peaceful scene. It would be deer chilling out in the forest, waves crashes up against some rocked on an island, a large chested woman running in slow motion on the beach, etc. Bring your awareness to different parts of your body, and relax them individually. Once that is done, allow your mind to drift, and you should be able to sleep like a rock.

you might need to do more exercise and dont eat anything real sugary 2 hours before you go to bed. If you can you should try not to eat anything past 832. Now ask why 832 and the answer is you will remember it ;) Also when trying to go to sleep try not to accelerate your heart rate too much as this can keep you up. Another thing not to do is make your mind active, which means you really shouldnt be thinking a whole lot while trying to go to sleep. Some things to do are make your bed comfortable to you. Some people like it nice and warm and some like it nice and cold, it is up to you which one you like. Another thing to do is close your eyes and try to look into your head. I know it sounds strange but if you can figure out what I mean you will understand.

Your thinking for something deeply. Better to stop that bcoz your worring for that. Try to do some work, Dont give a time to think anything and don't search for free time. If you will tired definitely you will get sleep. If you don't have problems of these, once better to consult the doctor..
