can poor people have rich friends or friends with money

i have friends and i know that they have more money than me.i still want to be friends with them the only problem i met up with a gf from 20 yrs ago and we reunited at mcdonalds it did not go well though and it still weighs on my mind i call her and she calls me back when i do.But she has not called me after that.Okay heres what happened i brought my kids with me and they were complaining of being hungry as they saw my friend her husband and their child eating so i told them to go order food for themselves.They did but....the card did not to find out later it did not work cause it was expired.They had to cancel their order.IN despair, i looked at my friend hopping she would help me out this time.She did not even suggest helping me.I was embarassed that day.SHE TOLD ME THE SAME HAPPENED TO HER WHEN AT SAMS.WE LEFT FROM THERE I CALLED HER THAT NIGHT.SHE TALKED OF FUTURE GET TOGETHERS WE WILL SEE.IS MY FRIENDSHIP DOOMED?OR IS IT STILL POSSIBLE FOR US TO GET TOGETHER.
