So the third episode of this season happened, and it was a very solid episode. While it may have been the weakest Matt Smith episode acting wise (it was the third one filmed, the first two are the next two episodes to air), and some stuff feeled a bit crammed in, I did enjoy the episode a lot. The new Daleks are larger, and how they killed the old Daleks so coldly and there was no arguing from the "inferior" Daleks was very chilling. I really don't mind that these Daleks are all Power Rangered up with colors and such, especially with the explanation that colors will equate to jobs, seems handy enough. Plus these Daleks out smarted the Doctor, they actually won the fight against the Doctor, when was the last time that happened? It was also great seeing the 11th Doctor's reaction to the Daleks, it was genuine hatred, which was quite different from last week's anger and disappointment with the humans who tortured the Space Whale. Next week we get River Song AND the weeping angels, it will be brilliant! What did everyone else think?

I enjoyed this episode and thought the WWII theme was very good, as it was atmospheric and authentic. I loved the Jammie Dodgers bit and I like the new design for the Daleks too. I think they will be back for the season finale.

I thought it was a good episode - I saw glimpses of both Eccleston and Tennant's Doctors in his portrayal. Even moments of Tom Baker. And the next episode looks just AWESOME!
