Nowadays I often read in the newspaper that many high school girls do the abortion. Deep in my heart, I feel so pity on them. They would burden the sins forever in their life. But what can we do to reduce the number of abortion?

I'm pro-choice, and I wish there were fewer abortions. Comprehensive education is probably the best method of keeping teens from getting pregnant. By just saying "Don't do it", kids don't get the information they need. They're full of hormones. Chances are some will do it anyway. At least if they are well informed about contraception there would be fewer abortions. Studies show that places were abstinence only is taught have higher teen pregnancy rates.

High schools girls should be educated about this cause they are curious about things but they dont know how to play the game that's why they end up pregnant. When they became pregnant they resort to abortion which is not the solution to their problems but something that will only make it worse. Kids should be educated and if possible, families should set some values for kids to follow to avoid immorality. I dont know if this is possible but if wanted, its possible.

yes..I think a family has a great influence here...Giving freedom to the teenagers seems resulting more problems. I think we have to spend more of our time to our teen girls...

Prevention is better than cure. School girls in a society, which is getting more and more permissive, and tolerant to unwed pregnancies, have to be educated and advised by the family and friends to prevent the happening. But what is the right remedy, is the question in contention. If abortion is the option of the girl. So be it. There may be reasons why she resorts to such action. The aspect of 'sin' is a factor to be considered before the conception. Once the sin happened the second sin need not be deterrent. There are instances where even married women have opted for termination of unwanted, and unplanned pregnancies for various reasons. One should not consider there is a 'life' of 'unborn' child involved. Freedom of choice lies with the pregnant woman.
