DO you have a house? Or have many houses? I live in Beijing, the prise of houses is too high for ordinary people to buy. Maybe I can earn a small house when im 50 years old. Can you buy a house easily in you city? whats the price in you city?

hey nuc..likewise here as well. i'm from india and from a city called bangalore. real estate over here is so damn expensive. i often wonder how people can afford to have their own place and that to a popular expensive residential area. the are i live in is really expensive. i don't think i'll ever be able to afford a place of mine own. i so wish i could buy a small apartment and would love to furnish it . think it will only be a dream to own one unless i win a lottery or strike gold!! lol

here it differs from place to place. i am actually from a small town and earlier real estate rates were dirt cheap. the house that we stay in currently was bought for peanuts. but now its multiplied three times over. recently my mom told me a house was sold for 1crore in indian money. that's too much for a small town. times are changing i guess

the price of an apartment in china equals the money an ordinary people earned in 30 years. we spend our future income to buy a home.

I know the house price in Tianjin is much higher than 4 or 5 years ago. but the wage is not rising too much. life is hard everywhere.

I have no ability to buy a house for I live in Shanghai. As is known to all, the real estate bubble in Shanghai is very serious. In downtown the average price of house has reached 40 to 50 thousand RMB (6,000-7,000 USD) per square meter. Even in the suburb, the price of new house has exceeded 20 thousand RMB per square meter. Another problem is that most houses are too big, so the total price is too high for ordinary people to afford.

As far as I am concerned, I think I do not have the ability to buy me a own house at the moment in my area, which is so expensive now.now, I just live in a common house ,where can make me a living. I think that is Ok for me. But in the end, I think I should try my best to make he house of my own in that case,I will live on my onw , do not need to live a house with so many people around. I think I like that way so much in my life.

I think its not too expensive for us to rent a apartment with 2 or 3 persons living in. It is easier than purchasing a house. I will not buy a house by loaning from bank.

Likewise. I can't afford an apartment, even a small one, let alone a house.

Well, most of our young people even cant afford the down payment of an apartment without our relatives help.I heard that a white collar in shanghai could buy a house without any payout after 100 years.Chinese goverment is implementing new policies to lower the price, but i dont think its going to work. So let us rent a house.

hello nuc_2005; I'm a property consultant--just blogging around hehehe--if you want to buy a house in a city or suburb check first how your budget is gonna run--there are a lot of options in purchasing a house. YOu might need an agent--but you have to tell him the exact budget that you have or you can scout the prices around you. i would love to help you around to purchase a property--don't worry I won't charge hehe--hope you had in mind to purchase here in the Philippines

I would love to, but of course I cann't afford the high price of house. I think most people is just like me, and this high price has already been a nightmare for Chinese people. We will become slaves in the future if it keeps going. Then what we can only do is hiding in internet and finding a spiritual sustenance in the virtual communities.
