Hello Mylot!
I am wondering if you know any metalheads/rockers related movies. [Not band on genre documentaries].I am looking for movies that have abnormal kinds of characters [like the crow or the rocker].
Why?
I've got sick and tired to see movies filled with rap and pp stars and I want to see some rockers too .
I don't want to sound stereotype but I only saw a very limited number of this kind of movies and The Crow 1 and the Rocker were the only ones good enough to remember.
I am not looking for a genre it can be action, drama, comedy [please do skip the "p0rn" movies!]
So please if you know some, do share it with me.
Thank you.

Have you ever seen Rockstar? I'm pretty sure that's the name of it. It has jennifer Aniston playing the girlfriend. I really like that movie. It's about a guy who's in a tribute band and then gets to join the real band as the lead singer. If you like these kind of movies I think you'd like this one. You should check it out. I don't think they have enough of these movies. Who is your favorite rocker, mine is KISS!

The movie you're talking about is Detroit Rock City! It is a great movie. I have all the Kiss movies and most of the video's they put out. I even have the vhs of Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park. It is VERY old. I was about 13 years old when it came out. Oh my I just said I was Very old, lol! Kiss Meets the Phantom is next to impossible to find it's not a truly good movie but for Kiss fans it's one you need in your collection. As I said above my favorite band is Kiss and I would give anything to meet Paul Stanley, yum yum!

Not yet. But sure I will.
Still you remembered me the movie named The concert I think about a group of rockers going to a kiss concert and fighting with the stereotype. It was funny as hell!
Stealing cars, beating poppers and losing virginity in churches. Oh my God that movie made my childhood.
My favorite rocker is... well... I listen to a very long list of artists but I'll pick Corey Taylor from Stone Sour and Slipknot , and Dimebag Darrel from Pantera [ R.I.P.]
Thank you for sharing these with me and I really appreciate the fact that you remembered some thing from my childhood with your comment.

Tenacious D is awesome, check it out ;) Other great rock movies include of course the classic movie Spinal Tap (a fake documentary, funny as hell and a must see for every single rock fan), Pop Rocks (a pretty rare movie since it was a TV movie, use imdb to search for this) and a movie called Rock Star is also good (if you wanna see the trailer, add 2001 to the search, the year the film was made...) I don't remember anything else at the moment but I'll add if I suddenly do ;)
Enjoy and keep on rockin'! :)

Yes I will.
I am somehow disappointed because I can't really find new movies. It's a pity. still I have heard on tenacious D.
I have seen the promo on television for Rock Star and I have searching it for years, but I never knew it's name.
Thank you very much for sharing this information with me.

If you want to see a really funny movie, check out *This is Spinal Tap* as it rips the mickey out of the rock and metal scene.

Not sure if it is what you are looking for but either "Still Crazy" or "Almost Famous" are good films about rock bands on the road.
The first is about a band from the seventies who reform and try to recapture their old magic.
The second is set in the seventies and about a young journalist who goes on tour with a rock band.
Neither are metal particularly, more seventies rock like Humble Pie or Bad Company.
