You can tell your wife to use Cocoa Butter like Palmers Cocoa Butter. She can rub the butter to the affected skin part. she can also try using Vitamin E oil and massage it to her stretch marks. You can also consider consulting a dermatologist that might be able to recommend a solution for stretch marks.

well, the pregnancy stretch marks the so-called Caeserean birth stretch marks are very hard to remove and I think that it is almost impossible without an expensive plastic surgery. that's why I have always said that for one woman is better to give a birth the normal way, if eevrything is OK and the Caeserean birth is not necessary!

When I got pregnant, I did not have any stretch marks, and I did put on the stretch marks prevention lotion during my late trimester of pregnancy (maybe it's too late). But when the baby was born, voila..they all came out..heheh.. I wore this kind of corset / bustier (mothers in my country usually do this after giving birth anytime everyday in order to get my tummy back to normal. Well, finally it went normal (well, not as normal as it used to), but the stretch marks did not even fade away.
Based on articles I read, stretch marks are genetic. My mom had them, so I believe it is so possible if I had them, too. However, I agree with Laydee's comment above, maybe you can prevent it during pregnancy time (put on stretch marks prevention lotion), so they will not be too visible after giving birth.
Anyway, as long as you do not complain, tell your wife it is ok to have stretch marked tummy :)

hi jimmy,
When I was pregnant, luckily never had stretch marks on my tummy but instead in my upper thighs.I am not really bothered about it,it reminds me of how I took care of my baby when i was still conceiving her but would love to know also if there is something that can remove stretch marks completely but I bet there would be any...I know that coco butter would help reduce it,have tried it,it does give result but just a little bit...there are latest technology I believe so but I really don't want to try it ( electrical methods & it's expensive)..try to ask her to apply coco butter lotion on the area,it will be lighter. That's all i know hope other mylotters can give some other advises.Have a great day!

There's no way to get rid of it, but there are varied ways to make it look lighter. There's a surgery for it, though it's too impractical. As for making it look lighter there are substitutes like cebo de macho and mantika de cacao both from cacao fruit and coconut.
But the best way I've seen is by not scratching it. Soon it will b almost unnoticeable but it will be there forever.
She should have done something about it during the pregnancy because there are ways (so they say) to not cause stretch marks.
