China is a communist country and communist don't like to believe in God. China said they are open to every religion in their government website. Is that just to show to the world, that they are open. What's wrong with God. Is there any links between communist-god? History, said, china destroy many temples..many gods...religious beliefs... Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, and Islam and Christianity. has been there. I believe in in to major religion Tao, and Buddhism. Buddhism deny God , so there may be more practiced from the past...Buddha teach peace and meditation... Confucianism is a little bit looks like communist over come. It's hard to express words from him. I don't think they are free, in religious believes. Buddhism does not believe in God, but china still avoid Buddhism there. Religious people moved to Tibet..More Buddhist are there..Dalai lama..religious leader of Tibet.... My question is what's wrong with Buddhism in china. Communist don't believe in God and Buddhist the same. The Government still warns religious activities. I think because they create groups, people are united. when united it will become huge..it's really hard for the government... what do you think about this??

China is a communist country and they believe that work is worship. inspite of not believing in God they are developing daily. they have won many gold medals in olympics. but one day they may allow religion to enter their country.

It's true that CPC doesn't believe in God. But don't ignore the fact that CPC has changed a lot in the past thirty years. Thirty or forty years ago, CPC planned to spread its belief and destroy the religions. Nowadays CPC only wants to stay in power and has no intention to spread its belief. Few Chinese people still believe in Communism and the government doesn't care what religion you believe so long as you don't oppose its rule. The reason why the government still control the religious groups is not that it wants to interfere the belief. Just as you said, the government just worries that such big groups may affect its rule if they are not in the control of government.

Dalai lama isnt there any more.He lives in Dharmshala india.Yes communism dont belive on god, infact they hate that concept.Still there are people in Chins which follow Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, and Islam and Christianity. Although there are many restriction people still do believe on god. And as china is opening to world its changing as well.I think government there is reducing restrictions slowly.

I think you're right the Chinese communist government frowns on any strong or strength gathering group of people, and historically has been very aggressively against religion or let's say faith in other than the state.

Government should adopt secularism they should not show any interest on the people's with regard to religion or god. This is purely personal matter ie. god, faith, religion. There should not be any partiality. If they don't believe god just leave it but it should not rub on the heads of their own people. Government should act like a father of their people. Should protect their feelings, goodness and see the uplift of the people, should not discourage or hurt anyone. But if anything bad truly then should not be encouraged. Some of the countries they take an example of China for sports. Religion or god is very sensitive matters.
