Simple snack or lunchtime meal, what do you chose and what's your favourite

April 21, 2010 6:44am CST
I have spent most of time morning finalising all the last moment things for my wedding. I didn't have time for a proper breakfast this morning as I had to take my partner into work for his early shift, so now I am feeling a little bit hungry. I can't decide what to have for lunch though. Do I settle for a snack, a sandwich or something similar OR do I go to the trouble of cooking a meal for myself? In some ways I think I should be eating properly and having balanced meals three times a day but I don't really feel so hungry I could eat a full meal so, what do you suggest. Snack or meal, junk food or healthy, what do you prefer.

hey there..first of all, congratulations for your wedding. when are you getting married? your so lucky..wish i could say that i don't feel hungry. all i ever think of is what do i eat next. i try to eat healthy but then the temptation of good food is too much for me to handle and i give in no matter how much i don't want to. my advise is to eat healthy. the occasional junk food is ok, you gotta either hate it or have good self control to give up junk. if you don't feel hungry, don't have a meal but go in for some salads or juices which are both light and healthy. i try to maintain a balance between junk food and healthy stuff but sometimes i just give into my cravings and pig out. hehe

I would eat a good and substantial meal now since you didn't have a good breakfast. If you don't you will be snacking all day and mad at yourself. We should all try to have a good morning meal or we will eat anything in sight after awhile. It could end badly.

I ended up with a grilled cheese sandwich and some rocket salad, not too bad I thought.

Hello my friend, sometimes I find just eating a bowl of cereal is more than adequate for a snack and lunchtime suggestion, it's not junk food and who says cereal has to be eaten just for breakfast? Because I do a lot of training at the gym and cereal is high in carbs, a bowl of branflakes or muesli at lunch time will keep me going for hours certainly as fuel to use up during my exercise routine, but even if you don't need it for energy I always find cereal is very filling and it's so easy to make, without the cooking, the extra washing up and just for one person, it's ideal. It's also balanced and very healthy (providing it's not heavily sugared LOL) Snacks high in protein are also very good and keep you going and stop you snacking mid afternoon too. Bon appetite ;00

I'm always being told off for not eating properly, but I usually prefer something light at lunchtime so I can eat with my other half in the evening.

a sandwich can be a meal, doesn't have to be cooked to be a proper meal

I think you'd rather had a meal a light meal perhaps,if you go for a snack then you will feel hungry soon and you can't stop yourself grab a thing to eat,and If that will happened you will not much interested in taking your dinner, so have a proper meal and it will benefit your health too. Happy myLotting!

the good thing to do is to eat real food during the day. healthy and well balanced meals and if u r looking to have muscle and stay tone u should be eating atleast 4 to 8 healthy meals every day and u should be working out hard every day on a regular basis and u should have atleast 2 days of just rest out of every week. u should work out atleast 4 times every week and for atleast 30 minutes every day.
