Anything else for old make-ups?

hey sharlionse..you can reuse the makeup/cosmetics instead of dispoing it. recylce and reuse. that's the mantra for today's world. helps the environment.. ok a small idea that i have. i love nail enamel. so i had like these bottles of different colors which had gone a bit hard or dried. so instead of throwing them away, i made card using the nail polish as paint. and you know what, the cards looked pretty good. gave them away to friends. only thing is it smelled a bit like nail enamel. but u can always dab on a little perfume to get rid of the smell. what other specific make up are you talking about? let me know and maybe i can give you some mo ideas. cheers

you can probably use it for artwork or scrap booking. you can use the colors and who knows you might be able to create a beautiful work of art.

hi sharlionse I have a different idea than the other responders, take all the make ups that you are not using anymore to a battered women's shelter as so many of them probably come there in a horrible situation and do not have anything that they really need like make up. Also these make ups could be taken to convalescent home or nursing home where elderly women often do not have the funds to buy the cosmetics that they used to use all the time. just a couple of suggestions.
