Well, although IPL was started for the welfare of cricket in India its becoming a curse to Indian T20 team.
last year also Ipl made some injuries to our key player including Viru.
this time also IPL injured Viru, gambir, Dhoni, smith......
And thw worlds most unpredictable attacking batsman dropped from the indian team.
Do you think that this the advantage ipl brings for india?
inagural T20 World Cup was won by India beacause it was not played after an ipl season.
Why the BCCI is not bothered about the adverse effect of IPL that is causing serious trouble togood quality cricket? And its making the chance for india winning chance in WC very narrow.BCCI is not bothering about it because they dont really get much profit from T20 WC but IPL is their money machine which is a hen which put golden egg every time.
And do you think that all the players other thanviru are fully fit for play?
viru was avoided because he was having a serious injury, so how many are in the teams with minor injuries?
yuvi, gauti, dhoni all carries minor injuries thats what i feel.
actually the ipl should not be played so close to T20 world cup it makes the WC as the fight between the wounded teams and india faces it adverse effect more.
whats your opinion on this?

yes you are absolutely right. ipl made our players injured or unfit. it is because ipl offers more money than one player can get in 1 year through international cricket. thus for heaven sake we have to recall ipl even in the next yeaR because world cup is coming and you need your players in full fit.

Well that is the fear and worry of all Indians. I feel already it was too much of tight matches and most of them have stitches and injuries. But still hoping they can come off and rock in there.

I sort of agree with you. It's one of the worrying factor about the IPL.
But then again, there are other team players like Chris Gayle, Peiterson, Jayawardane, Dale Steyn, B Lee, Muralidaran, Gibbs, Sangakara, Symonds, Hussey, Morkel, Kallis, Smith, Bond, etc... who participated in the IPL tournament as well so, it's not only about Indian team players risking injury before a world 20-20 tournament.
But thankfully, Indian team has got tons of alternatives when it comes to batting. Bowling is what a bit worrying. If Zaheer gets injured, I have no idea who will lead the Indian bowling.

first of all,the indian public wont take it that well if we get knocked out in the league stages of the world cup again.
next the IPL will be bigger next year with 94 matches and good thing is we dont have world cup next year but it will sure injure many key players.
the england team is very clever.players like stuart broad, anderson are staying away from ipl to get rest and play well for the world cup.
seems ipl didnt like it so announced a new rule that if you skip ipl season for resting purpose, you will be kicked out of IPL for good.
using our people craze and addiction to cricket, people are making money and as usual people dont care

The absence of Viru in T-20 is a big miss for all of us. This not a good news for all India fans. But he replaced by Murali Vijay, who in very good form and play some very good cricket for Chennai Super Kings in IPL-3.
Hope! India will over come this problems and so some awesome class in T-20 World Cup in Caribbean field.
