My friend who is very close to me has got a problem recently. She has asked me to help her solve her problem. But the fact is that I have to tell a lie to her parents to prevent her from having troubles. What should I do?

If a friend needs help ill try to help as mich as i can, i believe follow your instincts if you believe you should help her then do it, but if you dont think you should dont, just make up some exscuse like your really sick and you cant help or something along those lines, never do something when it makes you feel uncomftable.

This is a tough decision for many of us. Lying isn't good in any way... especially if your fiend has a problem. You should talk to your friend and tell him/her that you can't honestly lie to his/her parents, but that you will try to help her in any way you can; the good and right way. Your friend must understand the position you are in and respect it... if he/she doesn't and instead tells you that you won't be friends anymore if you don't do what he/she wants, then he/she's not your true friend and you shouldn't be worrying to help him/her.
Good luck with this situation :)

if you are really her friend you should be concerned for her benefits. If you think " to lie" will just worsening the situation. Maybe do something to help her like you are her sister. Just weigh things up, what is good.
