Did it happen to you?

Did it happen to you that you started a discussion, and you get responses that are not related to your post, or let's say your discussion is misunderstood?
I just realized that some posters don't take time to read well some discussions, and would answer something that is far from what you meant. Like, you just shared your thoughts and you didn't mention any issues or problems, and out of the blue you would get a reply of advices concerning the problems you didn't even raised in the discussion. Weird. But obviously, some would just reply/post for the sake of posting as much as they could.
That's sad. But hopefully majority of mylotters would still go for quality postings and would read and understand carefully what they're responding to.
Happy mylotting!

yes, but I think these things happen (normally) because people tend to reply to the discussions, not really because it is interesting or what, but because their motivation is to post as much as they can to boost earnings. Often times they just read the title, assume what you are discussing, and that's it. I must admit that there are certain people who replied because you are their friend, or they just liked what you have started or topic.

That's right. Many people are actually desperate because of the actual (economical) situation and they don't know what else the should do to earn a little bit of extra money, so one way for them is to use as much as possible, so they don't take their time to read well the information posted which would help them to an higher qualified answer. Only to assume what the discussion is about reading only the title can result in missundersting and is also resting quality to the discussion started by other users. Most of us have to learn to pay more attention to what we are reading, writing and listening.

That has happened to me before and its frustrating but sometimes it may be my fault that maybe I should have worded differently. Then sometimes there are people who can read something very simple to understand but they feel the need to complicate and make it hard on themselves. lol

Yes, it's either us who worded our post that not suited to the reader's context, or simply they didn't read carefully, or they just wanted to add or subtract something from original post, or they wanted to complicate the simple one,lol

I have not encountered such. I barely start a discussion considering that I am quite busy with work. Most of the discussions that I have started, have related responses. Well, I guess this usually happens to especially if the person responding would not read your whole post and post a response right away, especially if they are more after of the earning rather than a good quality response.

Yes, this has happened to me on a few occasions and it used to irritate me. But now, I have pretty much accepted that there are some people who may just look at the title and start responding without reading through what the thread-starter has to really say. Such people are obviously focused on trying to make more pennies than to contribute to the post or conversation. But I guess it's best to just accept it and move on. I used to be like when such things happened. But now I am more like lol.
Hope you have a great day and enjoy yourself.

Yes, it's irritating but this happens even in real world, that's why a lot of misunderstanding occurs. Sad but again another reality we need to accept.

Many people are not really reading or listening to what you are writing or telling them. That's quite normal nowadays, maybe it's the result of being all day in hurry. People get stressed and don't take any more time to read well any information or to listen well. This turns into another problem called missunderstanding. I also hate it when I am talking about something important to me to someone and the other person doesn't attend.

I always read the discussions, because I can't give an appropriate response otherwise. I like to stick to the topic at hand, so that iw why I will read the discussions I am responding to. That is what we are supposed to do anyway. How can any of us answer without reading first, unless some are just trying to make as much as they can, so they will say anything, and that is sad too, as they are really missing out on what mylot is all about anyway. You would think they would want to learn, but some are only here for the earnings. I for one, am here to learn, and I have learned and I hope to contunue to learn. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

yes i have like i based my response to the title of the topic though her content is different so i dont know which one to follow. i guess if a member want to make a direct answer to her post, she must be clear which one she really want to answer, like if she want her question to be answered then better put it in the title, i receive a comment from the owner of the post saying i didnt answer her question and that im not reading her post. oh well, i told her, better put your question in the main title to make us clear what she really want coz her content is far more different in her title. or dont make her title like a question for us to answer then all of a sudden its a different question inside and the title did not even reflect to the content. and she have guts to tell me im not reading her post. what the heck. its not her problem if i read her post or not as long as i answer one of here questions and i leave a response there. the problem with other members is that they are too sensitive and they make it too personal.

I think sometimes, things like that are inevitable. Because when people starts posting on their comments -- the next user somehow base his/her reply from the comments previously posted regarding the discussion. But of course if it's a completely different topic then that's definitely a big question. =)
Nothing of such happened to me. But then again, probably any response as long as it's related to the whole thread is fine by me. Even if their response is getting far from the topic posted. It's fine. As long as people are having fun interacting.
I think that's the beauty of mylot. One thing always lead to another. One topic can branch out to hundred, even thousand more topics. =)
