Does Rose of Jericho (The Resurrection plant) really heals?

Rose of Jericho or Rosa de Jerico or Resurrection plant. The legend has it that the blood of Jesus Christ fell on it and so it became an immortal plant. There are some people that after three days drink the water from the bowl where they placed the plant. Does it have healing/magical powers?
