Hi IJ. All my senses are very quick, but the touch sense, seem to have a will of its own. Always first in line. TATA.

I think that in order to survive all the crap that has happened to me in the last year and a half I have pretty much used all five senses altogether just to survive being evicted, being stuck here in this tiresome retirement center. my sight is my strongest sense but the others are right close by. I journal every day to keep my mind sane and functioning so rely really heavily on my sight. taste and smell come really close too. A sense of smell is important in a place where some' people are not sound of mind and are likely to do most any thing. If your sense of smell is off you may not smell smoke or pot or anyone of a number of things a person who is senile may be up to.

My hearing is probably the most sensitive/fastest. My eyesight is probably the next most sensitive/fastest. I would hate to lose either of these two senses, or any of my senses for that matter.

To me what works best normally would be my vision followed by hearing and substantiated by my senses of smell, touch and taste. I would probably say about 60% goes to my vision with 30% for hearing and the balance 10% for each of the other 3 categories in almost every situation unless a special situation arises that requires the major use of each of these senses.

For me, my vision is the sharpest of them all,I can say the one would my touch,my smell,hearing and taste.That is how it goes in order with all my five senses I'm happy of course they are working good and perfect.lol

Hi cloud, here sharing some experience with you from my everyday life instead of the scientific one I could see thing in certain distance. How clearly the visibility is usually depending on how big the size of the object or stuff. Of course it's impossible if without my glasses....I have a sensitive nose and can get either fragrant or smelly odor very fast comparing to my family members Any small voice will awaken me up from my sound sleep in the middle of the night. Lol...so you know how good my hearing sense is! So keep alert hightly when sharing secret with someone near me However my taste and touch senses are so so only. But at least I can distinguish the essential five savors of sweet, sour, bitter, salty and hot. It's no problem as to tell by touching which is soft or hard, cold or hot,.....lol... Happy posting!

We are the master of all our senses. I think they are all interconnected. Like when I see a green mango I will salivate and a touch will quickly send signals to the feelings. I am an alert person and all my sensory units are equally sensitive at the time it is applicable.

i would also like to say that my hearing is the most sensitive. even from a distance, you could know that there is happening and that you could be aware of. touch is also one that is too sensitive, especially if a girl touches me, even when without the sight or the smell.

Hello cloud, I think I can still use all the five senses but I need an aid to one. I have a poor eye vision now and I need eye glasses in order to see things clearly. When I don't have one it seems that every thing is blurred. So I may consider that the most sensitive sense is my touch. I can be so sensitive with a single touch. I even want to embrace my son and husband every time. What is the difference from fastest to quickest? Anyway, the quickest would be smell. I am also sensitive when it comes to smell, it maybe a good or bad smell. But I use the hearing sense the most. In the morning I would hear the alarm clock that would make me wake up then I hear all those animals making their own sounds. . And lastly, it's the taste. The only use of it is when we taste food. have fun mylotting!

My fastest and sensitive sense I've got is my touch,obviously feeling will respond so easy if I have been touch.lol Keep smiling cloud.

Hi cloud31! Those 5 senses are still very active with me, and I use them everyday. I will just describe how I use each one of it. First the sense of touch which is mainly use by hands - I use it very often in touching and holding things. I can say my sense of touch is still very sharp, as I can still feel how smooth or rough what I am touching is. Second, the sense of sight which is use by our eyes - this is very important because without it, we will not be able to see and know what are the things around us and how beautiful they are. I use my eyes everyday, more often in using the computer. Third, the sense of smell which is use by our nose - I also use it everyday and it is also very important. When we smell a bad odor, we tend to cover our nose, but if it's a good fragrance, we tend to keep smelling. I use my sense of smell mainly in food I will eat, by this sense, I will be able to know if the food is still good to consume or not. Fourth, the sense of hearing which is use by our ears - it is very important because we use it in interacting with people personally. If we will not be able to hear them, it is very difficult to understand what they are saying. Fifth, the sense of taste - This is also important, specially in eating. With this sense, we will be able to know how good the food is. Well, for the percentage of use, I can say that sense of sight is number 1. Number 2 is sense of hearing. Number 3 is sense of touch. Number 4 is sense of smell. And sense of taste is number 5. Have a peaceful day! :)

I can make an order like this way: vision,hear,touch,smell and taste. I hope I can make them all active!

I believe my sense of smell and sense of hearing. Whenever I am sleeping, little amount of sounds makes me fully awake. Then I will check on that sounds in an urgent. My sense of smell have many use. I can smell anything even it is from far places like 10 houses away from me. I am sensitive to smell of electricity.if there is something burning I can smell it to, even when someone lighted a candle I can smell it to. I can memorize the smell of my crush too, but only if he wears a perfume

All my senses work pretty much the same speed. My sense of touch is my most sensitive and best I would say because it never fails me while the others aren't so perfect like my site for instance I can see very well in the dark but darned if I it isn't bright day light and I won't see the thing sitting right in front of my face like this morning when I lost my key! Smell is the worst for me because my nose will shut down as soon as it smell something bad. I think I get that from my dad.

The two senses that I feel are the most important in my life are my sense of sight and my sense of hearing. These are the two that I know that I am using all the time. Then comes smell followed by taste. Finally there is the sense of touch. All five of the senses are very important and I couldn't imagine having to go forward in my life having lost any one of the five senses. That said, did you know that when a person loses one of their five senses the four senses that remain become more acute?

For me, its hearing. Even if I'm sleeping my hearing is very sharp and I could hear if someone is walking or something's just fall from a cabinet. I'm very sensitive with hearing cockroaches. I don't know but I can hear and smell them instantly so I always have my insect spray handy. Or I just don't like them so I can sense them if they are near me. hehehe...

I think my hearing is the most sensitive senses I have i can easily detect a thing with my audition.I can say this is the quickest and fastest senses in my body. All the best cloud!

i would have to say my vision and i also consider it to be the most important of all the five senses because without it you will not be able to see the beauty of life literally. i just don't think i can go on without it. it's tough to probably live in the darkness and not knowing where to go.
