With so many negative aspects of life these days, debts, wars, ect, we often forget to focus on what is one of the most natural and amazing aspects of life, being a parent. At the age of 30 I gave birth to my first child, she is the light of my life. My favorite part of being a Mom, is being there everyday for her, watching her fact light up into a huge smile when I talk to her, and knowing that when she is fussy, all she wants is her Momma. What is everyone else's favorite part of being a parent?

My husband and I are expecting our first baby, a boy, in June. I'm so excited to watch him grow and just to experience being a mother. I look forward to watching my husband be a daddy. There are so many milestones I can't wait to see our son reach. I'm already curious about his personality and what kind of child he's going to be over the years.

Congrats on your soon to be lil son. I think what I miss the most about being pregnant is feeling my lil girl kicking inside my belly, knowing that she was in there and so unblievably active, it was just totally awesome to me. My first fav moment with my daughter was seeing her born and the midwife just scooped her up and put her on my belly, cord still sttached and all. I heard the most beautiful sound her first cry, and as soon as I spoke to her she quieted right down. It was truly amazing and wondrous to me. She has a pretty mellow personality, except for when her mouth hurts from teething or she's hungry. Enjoy this time though, this last month and a half will go really fast and befor you know it you can barely sleep through the night because your up every 20 min going potty...What names are you all considering if you don't mind me asking? I'm old fashioned, and I made a promise to my grandmother years ago that I would carry on her mothers name which I loved. So my lil girl is named Eliza after her great great grandmother. and her middle name is Marie because we loved how well it went with Eliza.

If you pay attention to how active your lil son is in the last couple months, and what time periods during the day they say its a pretty good indicator of your lil ones soon to be sleep patterns to start with. I like those names as well, Jack is old fashioned and Maddox is pretty cool.
What's funny is Eliza never had the hiccups in my tummy, she just kicked me black and blue and gave me some really solid hip shots (never in the ribs lol) boy did those ones hurt lol... The joys of motherhood, but I wouldn't trade those moments for the world, and wouldn't trade the moment she first came into this world for anything.
I know i'm a sap lol...
