I like to have Coffee in the morning and tea in the evening. But some are objecting this saying tea and coffee carry coffin so it is not good for health, and some of them say it is good for health coffee protect from heart deceases and tea protect from bone fractures and both coffee and tea stimulates nervous system. I am very confused in this matter. Is it so? But by evening 4' clock if i didn't had a tea then i will feel some disturbance in the head. Is this because of the habit of having tea or coffee? Is any one experienced such thing? share with me.

tea and coffee in very excessive quantity may be harmful, otherwise they are ok for health.
Yes if you are habituated to have tea, not having it will give you headache.
It happens with many people. Just enjoy your tea and coffee without any tension, weather they are good or not.

if you wan to leave tea or coffee, for few days you can just drink hot water at your regular time of tea and coffee. This will help you quitting tea and coffee. But having 2-3 cup per day is very very common and acceptable. does not harm health at all.

Hi Jotomy,
Taking a cup of coffee in morning and a cup of tea in the evening never harm you in any way. If you go for more researches and listen to the experts you will become mad with the difference of opinion. Better stick with your habits and enjoy it.
Earlier I had not even drink tea/coffee but I developed the habit in a later stage due to friend’s influence in office. Now I can’t change this habit, if I didn’t drink my tea it will give me headache. I need only half cup but I can’t skip my tea in both times. I too heard about the problems of coffee and tea but it will affect badly if we take in large quantity.
We people are adding milk with tea and I think it destroys the advantages of tea and milk. I really wonder why we can’t take it differently. A tea without milk and sugar is good and give more refreshment (The calorie is also less in this tea).

There are good and bad points to everything we consume. Too much intake of anything can be prove to be harmful.. But in my opinion, tea is a good drinks, It energize a person who is too tired to work. And tea must not be boiled heavily. Apart from it,green tea is good for health as it reduces the risk of cancer and also reduces weight...
I am fond of green tea.But I also take Milk tea with ginger and cardamom sometimes as it makes it a relaxing drinks.I drink green tea more than milk tea or coffee.

well, as i know from the latest researches a cup of tea or coffee a day is good and really healthy and recommended, because it helps the organism to fight with some bacteria, but more than a cup is not that good, because it all gathers in the blood and may cause some allergic reactions or can even cause some worse effects on the organism!

There are good and bad points to everything we consume. These two items though seem to be a popular sounding board is all. In truth the goods out weights the bad in both of these cases, it's really more what you add that can be really bad, such as sugar, artificial flavors, etc. Moderation is key to drinking these hot beverages as it is to eating anything. Too much isn't good, but a little is more then fine.

i have read that both coffee and tea has antioxidants that slows down aging so that is a good thing although both also contain caffeine that may not be totally good for out body but i think moderation is the key because in any case too much of something is bad.
